It's for Monday...
I am going out today and getting a small DVD player and hooking it up MYSEELF to the second TV. the kids do not need 2 tv's for gaming. It will be my simple set-up so I can be taken care of. God knows, the kids will figure out how to set it up on the big tv without a hitch and it will have all the perks.
Thanks for letting me rant. feeling a LITTLE better. Glad I already packed my lunch so I am not tempted to shove soemthing in my mouth that I would regret because I am mad.
B: 1 egg, turkey pattty
S: Mozz. stick
L: Salad with chicken
S: 1 scoop of Protein powder that is either going into a cup of coffee or in 1/2 c. yogurt with blueberries

S: Not sure yet. Will figure this out before dinner so I don't blow it. My husband just got back form lativa and we have all sorts of sweet treats. Don't want to get off the wagon.
Ok, venting and writing my food is working on deescalating me. Here's what I am going to do:
Recharge my Ipod and pack a gym bag. At lunch time I am going to cut out of the office and take a good walk on the nature trail near my office. All will be fine. I am very nervous about a meeting scheduled for tomorrow and nervous about what may come my way today as well. Just think, by Wednesday, these will be events in the past. Gotta go get my stuff! Hope everyone is easing into their monday better than me! LOL N
When I saw the little devil icon I knew there was a problem. Just vent all you want, we'll listen. That walk sounds very relaxing. I am in a no stress job for the first time in years. I'm an administrative assistant and worked with management on a daily basis, some of whom thought they were the only one. The first of the year I moved to the reception desk. Since I've worked for all functions, I'm a go-to person when someone needs help. I'm nearing retirement so it's nice to be able to cut back and be more relaxed at work.
Don't blame you for being irritated with the kids. Give them a good lecture tonight!!
Yesterday I came across an Egg Salad recipe on Bariactric Eating so I made it although I can hardly eat an egg. Crazy thing is I can hardly eat a fried or scrambled eggs and omeletts are definitely out. I knew if I didn't like it DH would eat it. Now, if I can eat it without crackers. Really watching those carbs. I tried spaghetti squash yesterday with a little butter, salt and pepper. Very good. I'm going to try it with pasta sauce and cheese.
This evening I'm meeting my literacy student for the first time. I'm a volunteer for Literacy Kansas City. I'm a little nervous but I think I have the lesson plan set up.

OH & BTW - have you tried NF Greek Yogurt? Ive been hooked on this stuff I call "Pink Frosting". It's become my fav afternoon go to snack. I mix a cup of plain NF greek yogurt w/ a scoop of protein powder (sometimes) & sprinkle some cherrylimeaid great value drink mix on it - gives it that great pink color & zingy flavor. Best thing - it works w/ any flavor crystal light & is only 320 Cal Total Fat 1.5g Total Carb: 30g Protein 43g
