Let's see.  Mostly an office day tomorrow.  No travel which is good.  Here is what I have planned:

B:  One scrambled egg & a Turkey sausage patty
S;  Mozz Cheese Stick
L: chicken & peppers, dannon yogurt
S;  cup of protein coffee
D;  Salmon, matchstick carrots & salad
S:  Protein stick

Had the egg and turkey today (Monday).  Loved it!
The protein coffee worked well today as well.  Needed a work break so ran to Dunkin Donuts, got a coffee and brought it back to work and poured it over ice and added a scoop of Muscle Milk Light Vanilla.  Yummy!
One day at a time.

Eggs are off my menu.  I've tried them every way and just don't like them.  In my old life, I really liked omeletts but not any more.  I can eat the whites of a boiled egg.  Veggies are difficult for me and I always loved them especially green beans.  My favs are carrots and zuchinni and I do like salad.

B:  La Nouba low carb waffles
B #2:  Protein coffee
S:  Peanut Butter protein bar
L:  Cottage cheese with peach slices
D:  Roast beef, zuchinni & onions
S:  Protein shake

I brought a Vita Top muffin but it has too many carbs for my menu today.  I bought them when I was doing WWs....AGAIN.  After 3 weeks and no weight loss, I decided it wasn't for me.  Yesterday I counted points and compared them to my OH nutrition log.  I was out of points and still had a meal to eat.  According to OH, with all my food logged, I had 874 calories, 37 carbs and 112 grams of protein.

I had a booked evening last night whi*****luded a WLS meeting.  The biggest foods that I heard people say give them a hard time was eggs, chicken, pasta and bread.  For myself, pasta is still a no-no after over 3 years out.  Yeah!  There are some other previous comfort foods (like ice cream) that is a definite no way because of dumping as well.  Can totally live without the i.c.  Like the other night, if there is a rare moment of missing it, I found some creativity in protein shakes as a healthy replcement.

JB1114 - What protein bars do you prefer?  This week I bought Oh Yeah!  PB and mint.  I liked the PB but the chocoloate mint was not as tasty as I had hoped.

One day at a time.

Reviewing the food list from yesterday and the notes I scribbled along the day, I ate within my choices but the timing was off.  Work was stressful and the kids being home all day killed me as well.  In 2.5 hours my son called my cell phone 22 times!  I was doing a presentation and had to physically remove my purse from the room becasue of the vibrations.  Needless to say we had a family meeting last night and I do not expect this type of nonsense again!

Ate the breakfast and a.m. snack on time but totally got through lunch time with nothing.  Distracted by a huge hunger pain around 2:45.  Had my yogurt because int he middle of a deadline for materials.  So, skipped the chicken, peppers and afternoon protein coffee break!

made it home and was starving.  Yogurt ties me over but does not nip hunger for me.  I wonder if anyone else expereinces this?  The evening consisted of :
1/2 c. bean salsa (homemade and rockin' good!)
1/4 c. ff cottage cheese
cheese stick

After the meeting I had a Tablespoon of PB.

So very proud of myself for not eating late at night again.  Threee nights in a row!  I think I might be on to something by logging in my food online.  What kept me from snacking was the thought that I would have to type in the food in this entry and I was so not up for that.

I got on the scale and weight 180 today!  One day at a time....

I'm having trouble with protein now, chicken and beef.  I can usually eat it ok when I first cook it, but reheated it seems to taste different and I can't get it down.  My favorite proteins are ham and fish.  A couple bites of pasta and I'm full.  Ice cream doesn't taste like it used to and makes my pouch grouchy.

The protein bar I mentioned is a homemade bar from Bariactric Eating.  It tastes really good but when I cut them, they crumbled so now I have little cups of the mix.  I asked on that board why mine didn't set up.  Someone said due to humidity, I should increase the jam, but my house is air conditioned so don't think that's it.  May be I didn't let them set long enough.  Anyway, they're not wasted.   I can post the recipe if you want.
