Accountability - Thursday

Sorry I'm so late but we lost power and all that encompasses last night..Still without power! No grandbaby, although there was a false alarm and my daughter's puppy took at turn for the worst and died yesterday after noon. Is it any wonder I'm back at my desk at work? Hmm? No air conditioning or television at home and I'm running to work to be there instead of waiting for the power to come back on. We cant' leave our son to deal with no power so we wait to leave for Sacramento until the power is restored..

I see you listed protein waffles.  Are these the La Nouba waffles or something you make yourself?  I love the La Nouba protein waffles, but they taste more like a waffle cone.

Can't remember what I had yesterday, but it was good until........9 pm when I always fix a snack for DH and me.  I intended to make a small shake but instead had a drumstick and not the chicken kind.  I didn't look at the nutrition info, didn't want to know.

DH told me this morning he has put on a few pounds and he thinks it could be all the ice cream and cookies he has been eating.  I told him I have to qui endulging just because he does.  He suggested we switch to fruit or something healthy so that should help me.

I make them myself. 2 eggs, 2 scoops Soy Protein Baking Mix (CarbThin by Health Smart), 1/2 cup non-fat cottage cheese and 1/3 cup CarbQuick baking mix...I could do it without the carbquick but it just tastes so much better with it.

With the power out, I made them into pancakes this morning so they'll work either way.
