Two years ago I started my new life.  Today, I am recommiting to losing the rest of my weight.  Although I'm happy where I am, I'm still considered overweight according to the weight charts.  I need to eat healthy and exercise.

Two years ago I was on 3 BP meds, acid reflux meds, Ambien and thyroid.  Within a month of surgery I was off all the meds except thyroid and WLS doesn't change that.  A lot of money has been saved by being off all those meds.  I have way more energy, my self esteem is much better and I'm just a happier person.  Losing weight doesn't cure all your problems, but it sure helps a lot.

WLS was a little scary to me but after dieting for 35 years and never getting to goal, I decided it was the best thing for me.  I'm so glad

Congratulations!!! I remember those days.
Thats a great accomplishment. You should be very proud of yourself!! How does it feel?

Its all in your hands. You are will either make or break this. Meaning - its up to you. keep going on the road you are currently on, or revert back to what was.
Making clean - healthy food choices exercising everyday for AT LEAST 30-45 mins is KEY to achieving your WL "goal" what ever that may be. Getting out of that "overweight" category, gettin gdown to a certain weight, BMI, & body fat %. Getting in to a certain dress size - how ever you chose to look at it, making those healthy food choices COMBINED WITH daily exercise will enable you to achieve that.

Best of continued luck to you!!

The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Losing the 70 lbs. was a big accomplishment for me.  I can shop in the misses department and the first time I shopped in the petites at Penney's, I was walking around with a silly grin.  Going from 2X to 14 was great.  But, I know for even better health I need to lose the rest of it.

My incentive is a Nook or a Kindle.

ISNT THAT THE BEST FEELING?!??!?!?!!?
(yet somehow scarey too - I often felt lost & just went around in circles spending HOURS looking for age appropriate stuff & being amazed at the same time when i was able to get in to a 14/12/10/8!!! OMG the 8 freaked me OUT!! going from a 2x/26 to the JRs sizes was crazy!!)
I had that same silly grin LOL i think we all did/do LOL

You should be so PROUD of yourself!!!! 14 is a great size to wear - how does it feel on you?

What is Nook or a Kindle?

Um - its off topic, but you should be able to look up a weight chart on any of the online food /diet trackers. they also have them at your Drs office.
they probably have something here (on OH) - but you have to look for it.
