The uncomfortable "Full Feeling"
oooommmmgggggg my pouch is totally working!
Today is my 2nd day of the Atkins induction phase. With that, im trying to keep the total net carb count BELOW 15g/day. For a carb junkie like myself - that is REALLY HARD. But im finding different things to eat & i have to say i am SO FLIPPING FULL!
I did OK for breakfast (was around 9am). I had a bacon, cheddar,& spinach omlet. When i was starting to get full - i actually verbalized it & put the fork down (thinking "OH! IM FULL, i should stop eating).
Now seriously - one would think that "Full Feeling" signal would initiate a quicker repsonce & ideally i would be able to recognise it & i dont know... STOP EATING! But no - thats not always the way it happens. But it did today & Im happy for that.
So around noon i started feeling hungry again & thought OH YA im hungry - i should go eat something (again DUH!!)
i obviously over ate at lunch. i should have stuck w/ the 4 italian sytle turkey meatballs, but that wasnt enough at the time. So i proceed to then have 2 lettuce wraps (the 1st time ever mind you) that included 2 small leafs of romaine each with 1.5 slices of roasted turkey, 3 slices of light salame, & a cheese stick split between the 2 (w/ mayo & must).
omg it was so tasty, i totally didnt FEEL anything, nor did i hear that inner buzzer going STOP STOP STOP. The result - no dumping - no passing out (which is what i normally do). Just that really really "uncomfortable full feeling".

it makes me think that im stretching my pouch out, which makes me WANT to dump. but i dont unless i really have to. So far - i havent had to :)
