I had a fill 2 weeks ago and ever since I have had acid in my throat. I am not too tight. Is there a way you can have acid and not be tight?

I can only speak about my own expereince, but the only times I had any reflux or acid issues was when I was too tight. Once it was clear that I was too tight because I couldn't keep anything down. The second time I was able to eat and keep food down, but whenever I would lie down acid would shoot up my throat. Do you get your adjustments under flouro? If so, I might want to go back and check that everything is ok.

Debbie, why do you think you are not too tight?

I don't think I am too tight. I just know from this site that acid is one of the signs for being too tight.

Be careful, my acid was a sign that I had a slip.  I didn't think I was too tight, either.  Mainly, because when I could eat, I could eat a normal bandster amount.  Just be careful, beautiful!

I gotta agree with the others you have to be tight. I've been on these boards for 3 years and every time someone has acid reflux it has meant a too tight band. Maybe not so tight it causes slimming or pbs but too tight to be good for you. I can't go at all tight or I get reflux horrible. I've finally just given up and keep it loose. Seriously be really careful with this because I can't tell you the number of times I've read a post like this only to read a few months later that they lost their band. It is really that serious a situation.
