H Pylori

I was first diagnosed with h pylori when I had the routine EGD before my surgery. At the time I wasnt having any symptoms and wasnt even aware that I had it. Then in Dec of 08 I was diagnosed with it again but this time I was having horrible stomach pain. Now here it is JUNE of 10 and I have it yet again! I am feeling the same horrible stomach pain and currently on the 2 week antibiotic course. Why do I keep getting this stuff? my PCP is sending me to a gastroenterologist when I am finished with the meds. Has anyone else had this? What was your experience like? All I know is it is terribly painful. I heard that pepto bismol is good at treating the bacteria so I am taking that daily with the meds.
