Adjustment and weighing in

Just wanted to put something out there to keep myself honest.

I had an adjustment last Tuesday and boy, do I have restriction! It took me a few days to get back to solid food, as in, it too****il yesterday to get back to solids. I've been careful and I'm feeling good.

I've decided not to weigh myself for a while. I know I've lost a couple pounds this week because I can already feel that my clothes are getting looser. But I know that second week after an adjustment I either don't lose anything at all or I gain back a pound. So, instead of weighing myself after 1 week and seeing a loss of 4 pounds and then getting on the scale at 2 weeks and seeing a gain of one pound, I'd rather wait until week 2 and see a loss of 3 pounds. Know what I mean?

As I said, just putting it out there to keep myself honest. I go into the doctor's office for a follow-up next Wednesday. My goal is to wait until then for a weigh in.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Keeping honest and accountable to ourselves is the key here! That's why I post EVERYTHING I eat - no matter what.  That way its in black and white and I can see and own what I ate.  Otherwise its too easy to hide it and "pretend" it didn't happen!

Congratulations on getting back on track!  I wish I had my restriction still.  Oh I do, but not like that "post-op" feeling I had.. I do miss that at times!
