 hey there work out fiends.
i was wondering how many of you have in home exercise equipment.
After years of nagging, my sister has finally talked me in to getting a treadmill.
I went shopping around this weekend & ran across the Proform PFTL98908 785 CS Treadmill @ Sport Authority.
Do you have any recommendations you'd like to share?

We have the NordicTrack 1750 treadmill and it works well.  The model you noted only has a 2.25HP motor and, to be honest, that is the most important part of the machine.  You basically need a belt and a motor...not a High Def flat screen music player WiFi connected gadget.

Get the most horse power you can afford.

My best exercise equipment are my running shoes! Unfortunately, I don't have room in my house for a treadmill so I have to fight the weather. But, man, nothing is as hard or as rewarding as running. Enjoy your treadmill!

Hi Candace,

I have a Cadence 450 fold-up treadmill that I bought in 2005.  It is practically brand new.  When I do use it I can say that I get a hell of a workout.  It was given to me as a gift when my family was trying signify that I needed to lose weight.  I bought it home and refused to use it.  After I had WLS I used it a few times, but I prefer to walk outside.  I also have the Chuck Norris Total Fitness Gym, a work bench, an Eliptical Bicycle, a Mountain Bike and free weights.  Belonging to the gym at work..my equipment saw very little use, but since I am no longer employed their I am wearing it out.

Hope you enjoy your treadmill...get you some bumpin' music.  I find that I work out longer and harder with music.
