Happy Friday Eve, Everyone! LOL. I woke up to a turned over kitchen trash can (thank you DOGS!) and a wet spot on my side of the bed (thank you stupid cat!) so the day didn't start out cheery and nice but ...not as bad as my office neighbor. Her son's dog killed her daughter's dog this morning (Pitbull vs Yorkie) and so that whole household is upset.

OMG, I know people say that not all Pitbull's are bad but I hate Pitbull's because of stories like this. I love small dogs. This breaks my heart. I have a tea cup poodle and she weighs 3 1/2 lbs and my neighbor has a huge Pitbull that I am so afraid of. I never let Minne (my dog) go out alone if they are home. It just makes me nervous.

Anyway, My day has been good. I had to get up and run some errands early this am then came home and took a nap before coming to work at 3.

Pitbulls were bred to fight and kill other dogs for hundreds of years..people did that. There are good dogs...lots of them. but the real issue came out later when my friend went home and asked some questions. The little dog wasn't being watched. Poor Chopper was sleeping and not being watched either. The little dog came and stole his toy..he reacted like a little dog (at least my little dog) if you stole his toy...It was just because he was so much bigger than the little yorkie that the yorkie was hurt..Sad but because the kids were NOT watching what the dogs were doing, inside the house even...both dogs will be lost. I offered the idea of finding a rescue for the pit because he's really not a bad dog. He's just young..two years..Just the other day the two dogs were playing, under supervision, and were FINE..The whole thing is just too sad..But the guilt lies in the people, not the dogs. You do well to keep your baby away from the pit because you just don't know how well his owner has control..and all it takes is one bite..

Again, your numbers work so well. Awesome...You're doing really well...

Keep up the good work. See ya..

I forgot my totals but a few too many carbs again but not too bad.
0800-protein drink
1200-1/2 turkey w swiss on whole wheat w lettuce and peppercinis
1700-scrambled eggs w cheese, bagel thin with light butter and a banana while I was making this
2100-rf string cheese and rf wheat thins
2230-MISTAKE NSA ice cream- I am so nauseated from this. It is always a 50/50 chance ice cream will not agree with me but I keep gambling!
barely got my liquids in and may actuallly of been short a bit. DD is better I think it is her allergies and end of year busyness! She slept 12 hours and woke up feeling better. The constant mucous running down her throat makes her nauseus she only had tea and crackers yesterday. Claritan is not touching her lately.
No exercise it was a rest day. I am glad it is Friday tomorrow. I am tired of work and most everyone there.

You might want to have that sinus thing checked. I have killer allergies but this year it just seemed to make me ill for a long time...and hubby too. We both had sinus infections. It just will linger and not go away without the antibiotics..Not anything that debilitates (unless you're a kid) but it just hangs on and the mucus never goes away..they put me on childrens' (liquid) amoxocillin and that got it.

I had to quit buying NSA ice cream and frozen yogurt too. I just tossed a whole half gallen (or 1.75 quarts, they make now). I bought a 1 pint ice cream maker and now I can make my own protein ice cream (ala eggface) and so I don't have a half gallon of junk to bore me later..2 cups at a time is fine for me.

I'm tired of work too...I keep thinking about retirement and that helps. LOL.

Yeah for the weekend..I'm so ready. Keep up the good work. See ya.

Not bad at all. Really the numbers are good. Are you getting enough water? Sometimes water and added water can make it easier to bring the calorie number down...but 1300 is still really good, even great. I know I'd be starving at that number most days.

Unfortunately if I eat much more than that... I gain. Between hypothryoidism and too many years of screwing up my metabolism with diets... Its too easy to gain.

RNY on 10/21/08 with
Retirement?  Did someone say retirement?  LOL - Yep, I'm looking forawrd to it too, but have a few years yet...

I did well yesterday.  Finding that protein frap or milkshake (depends on how you make it) I think has saved me at night from munching.  I make a serving of that (which really comes out to a little more than 2 glass fulls) and I'm full.  The only calories in it are from the 8oz of milk and the scoop of protein - sure beats the heck out of the grazing I was doing!  And the scale rewarded me this morning - WOOHOO!  back to my original goal, now to get down to the few lbs lower that I was...

B - 2 protein coffees and a regular coffee
S - Atkins Advantage bar
S - grapes
S - iced coffee (with only a splash of milk)
L - 1/2 ham sandwich on wheat bread
S - double protein drink
D - rotisserie chicken, wing, thigh, leg
S - protein milkshake again - I LOVE 'em!  Added SF peanut butter syrup to it this time - it was ok, left out the coffee.

I think with the weather getting warmer that frap thing is the way to go. I'm thinking I need to brew up some decaf and do an iced coffee frap with chocolate protein..Around here the heat really makes it tough...Ice cream calls me (it kills me but it calls me) in the summers..

Yeah, retirement could come as early as 55 for me with 10 years in...which at 55, I'll have 18 years in..I'm at 14 years in October and three more years till I'm 55...BUT...if I wait till 58 (20 years in) I get my medical till I'm 70 and alittle more money...plus there is the possibility that I'll get a promotion and have a better pay rate before I retire too. So, yeah, I'm thinking about retirement and thinking about choices I have to make in the next 3-6 years..It could mean the difference between 80/20 beef and 96/4 beef later on. LOL.

Doing awesome! Keep up the good work.
