Not the Same Dawn
on 5/31/10 12:59 pm - BEE EFF EEE, CA

Today was recovery day from the huge time we had yesterday..Still I was not going to do my totals but felt that I needed to because, in the afternoon, I slipped up pretty bad..

My eats:

B: 1/4 serving of protein waffles with peanut butter and sf honey

2B: 2 eggs, 4 oz steaks, 1/4 hashed browns, 1/2 slice rye toast

L: 4 oz chicken breast, sandwich thin, slice cheese, mayo

Snack: too many cheese puffs. I finished a half a bag (nearly) and then I took a nap. carb coma more like. I ate at least four cups of these..they disolve into nothing and I was very sad to see my totals because of them. The good thing is, they are gone and I don't need to do that again.

D: 3 oz polish sausage, sandwich thin, mayo

Totals for the day:

Calories 2514
Fat: 152.0
Carbs: 169.0
Protein: 128.0

Horrible, really, really bad day..note to self: don't get so tired that you hae no self control. It really is dangerous! I got my water in...all of it. All my vitamins..but still. I'm not feeling very good about my choices today.

How did you do?

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Before Surgery: 214
Highest Weight: 240

I also slipped yesterday and then slipped again. I seriously feel miserable after eating way too much. I had plenty of exercise yesterday at the lake from swimming, jumping off the boat, riding on the tube, playing volleyball and fishing.

I really didn't eat much today. It's that time of the month and I'm bloated and cramping bad. Food is just not my friend today.

B: Protein shake .. 4 points

S: Banana .. 1 point

L: Protein shake .. 4 points

S: Boiled egg.. 2 points

Dinner:

Tomorrow is Tuesday and back on track day for all of us! I think routine helps me stick to a plan.
I had a weird eating day because I was waiting all day for the rain to stop so I could run. I usually have more protein in the morning to keep the carb cravings at bay.
0700-1/2 everything bagel thin w PB
0930-other half w pb
1100- rf string cheese and 7 rf triscuits
1230-lc tortilla, baked chicken , romaine, shredded parmesom and smidge of rf ceasar dressing-YUM
1700-Cooking Light recipe Spaghetti Pie-YUM
1900-sf angel food cake, strawberries with splenda
2100-BIG MISTAKE slice of hawaiin pizza on thin crust- Should of had a protein snack but I was craving this all day. Should of left the leftovers at the Pizza Place. Oh well it is gone and tomorrow is a new day! I have my breakfast, lunch and snacks packed and ready to go!
I ran 6.4 miles! I feel good too, so yeah for me! I had to get past my 5 mile rut. I got all my water and vits. I took the D3 in divided doses and so far so good. I see my pcp tomorrow to follow up on my lab work.
