I fell victim to a H8TER on this same CALIFORNIA board. She lives in Palm Springs. Many of us left only to rejoin on Facebook... those who know me, well, know me! L8ter H8ter! Only I lost 190lbs...

The following blog post was from Susan Marie's site...

L8ter H8ter!

Hater

1. A person who feels anger and/or jealousy for someone who has succeeded in something they have worked hard for, whether it's buying a new car or an Italian handbag, receiving a promotion, having business success, BEing happy, or losing one hundred thirty two pounds.

2. A being who speaks badly of and/or takes negative actions in attempt to create problems for a person who is successful.

3. Haters have a special link with one another and tend to fuel each others hate by hating in groups. They do seem to become happy from the escalation of hate for a person that arises in these groups.

It is difficult to hold back and not react when someone is attacking you, but remember that small people tear down other people and their ideas. It is more productive to ignore the hater, and instead focus on our own love and kindness. Marianne Williamson has written that there are really only two primary emotions in the universe, love and fear. So anytime you're feeling anxious, insecure, worried, angry or resentful, you've left love and entered fear.

It's more productive to leave the hater behind standing in their own pool of fear. Who has time for them?

Have a BEautiful Day! Live for the moment and the glory of today.

I was attacked by a friend of a friend on facebook last week so I totally get this...haters and cyber bullies suck!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I had a former friend (who also had RNY, I might add) make some really mean comments to me about how she did not expect me to be successful (for various -- all stupid -- reasons).  Well, I'm almost 3 years out and although I am up 3 pounds from my lowest weight, I am still a pound below my goal weight and am down to 27% body fat (I was 32% when I was originally hit goal), so clearly those pounds are muscle.

So she (and any other haters... like the acquaintance who backed out of RNY herself and then later emailed me to say she had heard that I looked "sickly" after losing the weight) can just go about their own lives and stay out of mine.  I have no time or energy for that kind of nonsense.

And add to the list the people who quit losing weight after surgery because they don't want to look like you...yikes that hurt..but I got over it because I am ROCKIN size 6 and they still have plenty of junk in their trunk...It really takes this surgery to see how friends really aren't friends. Ya know?

Good job on your continued success!

Well, I don't pretend to understand it but some guys think they like alittle more chunk than others...and girls actually believe that! Whatever.
