We had a lovely day. The Strawberry Festival was fun. Not as big as our own Poppy Festival but it was a nice walk and a nice drive. I'm ready for bed and maybe a snack. I'm thinking popcorn..

Anyway, here are my eats for the day:

4:30 am woke up and tried to make a protein waffle and the mix ruined (exploded) my waffle iron..Still, I managed to eat about a serving and a half..

24 oz Drink Mix,

10:00 am second breakfast of an egg enchilada (it was HORRIBLY salty..didn't eat all of it or much of the home fries)

Snack: 12 oz iced coffee and a bite or two of hubbies blueberry muffin (yeah, not good and i didn't even get sick...didn't even FEEL it!)

1 oz mozzarella cheese stick,

Lunch: chicken breast on a bed of salad greens with bleu cheese dressing (about a tablespoon-again, salty!) and 6 pieces of steak fries off hubbies plate..

24 oz Drink Mix

Snack: hardboiled egg and 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick

snack? A single serving of popcorn, maybe.

Not bad. I do have some room for a snack...maybe. I'm really tired though. Thinking just another drink of water and I'll be asleep.

Even with the carbs number being up there the percentage was good..Awesome work. With the protein number not more than 30%, water isn't an issue but only 22 oz just makes my mouth dry thinking about it. LOL..

I hate a mess in the kitchen! I wish I liked protein pancakes or waffles. I have tried several different recipes but I just don't like them. I do not like regular pancakes or waffles either so I should not be that surprised! I do get tired of eggs!
0930-banana
1000-scrambled eggs w cheese and bacon. small amount potatoes
1330=1/2 deli sandwich with top bread removed
1530-other half w top removed
1800-20 grapes and 10  pistachios
1930-taco meat, lc tortilla, rf cheese, salsa, rf sour cream
2030-1/2 serving york pieces. I am now nauseated!
4.65 mile run. I wanted to do 5 but ran out of gas suddenly. I think I should have a small snack prior to running over 4 miles. All my water and such. The only microwave popcorn I like is kettle corn 94% ff. Wish I had some tonight! I am so tired and ready for bed.

I have my cycles...for long over a year it was oatmeal and pritein and then I found protein pancakes (from eggface, I believe) and then I found this baking powder...The levels of carbs are just too low to ignore..and now, when I have the oatmeal, I react to it..

Yeah, the mess in the kitchen didn't exactly make my day either..

That's the kettle corn popcorn that I eat..And it sticks in my pouch for a long time too...I like that. Fortunately, I was too tired to have any and just drank water. That enchilada, as expected, added a full pound and a half to my scale number this morning too...It was like eating a salt lick! Yuck.

You did awesome! Yup, a carb snack with protein (crackers and peanut butter?) might have been in order before the run. But then, not a clue here..LOL.

Hi Dawn.  Here's what I had yesterday - a very bad day and it showed on the scale this morning...

B - 2 protein coffees
L - 3/4 grilled ham and cheese sandwich on wheat bread
S - some cashews throughout the day, few here, few there
D - fried chicken wings, fried egg rolls, (see the pattern?) appetizers... oh and a beer
Dessert:  SF skinny carmel latte
Snacking!!  Potato chips - beer...  WHY did I buy those chips???
S - protein drink (instead of a beer)

I have a BBQ to go to today - I know there will be lots of good junk to eat... I'm going to try and behave myself, but....

Yup...all that salt added alot of water and kept it there. My scale read a full one and a half pounds gained from yesterday, this morning...The good news is: It's temporary..

Have a great time at the barbeque and dont' worry about it until next week..Keep up the good work. See ya.
