I'm so glad it's Friday! Quiet day at work and at home..ds is at a friends house and we're all alone..haha..Too much fun! My daughter found a job at Dominoe's Pizza. Yay!  

Meals for Friday:  

5:00 am 1/2 serving protein pancakes, sugar free syrup, butter buds (don't like bisquick low carb..too many carbs! Too filling! back to CarbQuick, I guess)
 

6:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

6:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange

8:30 am 1 pc turkey breast deli meat (cheese didn't make it into my lunch bag!) and 1 medium orange raw   9:15 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Crystal Light White Grape

9:30 am 1/2 serving protein pancakes, 1T Peanut Butter, 1 tsp sf honey

11:00 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Power Edge Strawberry Tangerine Caffeinated (only drank half!)  

12:00 am 12 oz coffee w/splenda and half and half

12:45 pm 1/2 can tuna, splash of sesame dressing and dried onions on an oroweat sandwich thin with american cheese
 

1:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, GV Strawberry

2:15 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lipton Mandarin/Mango Tea  

3:00 pm 1/2 can tuna, splash of sesame dressing and dried onions (not on bread or with cheese, eaten with a fork).

4:00 pm 1/2 medium apple, raw

4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, GV Strawberry

6:30 pm buffalo burger on an oroweat sandwich thin, cheese

Carbs: 130.2
Protein: 145.5

Not bad. I had two oroweat sandwich thins and that's alot for me but I don't think I'll be snacking later either. Another drink maybe..

You did good. I'm a numbers person and so attached to my numbers and such...That's why I obsess over the number on the scale I guess. Your numbers are great...fat low, carbs low, protein higher than carbs...good good good..And the calorie number is really low! I think the percentages are lying but with the calories at that level, I guess...Still...great numbers.

i am so glad i am doing good , good, good. did you see may 13th #'s i only had 844 calories. but my protein was 84.5. i get on the scale everymorning so i am obsessed with the scale...

Don't stay too obsessed with the scale that you get bummed out if you are up a pound over night...it's probably just salt causing you to retain water..When the number on the scale dictates your mood for the day, that's when you have to back off from the scale.

I didn't see that post where your protein numbers were way into 60% range...Great job..Be sure and get enough water, especially on those days cuz the protein in those ranges is tough on the kidneys..I want to stay down where I am but my actual goal is "HEALTHY"

TGIF!!! Work went by very quickly today;too much to do and not enough time. i will have to catch up onSunday!
0900-protein drink
1100-3 oz chicken and steamed brocoli
1300-1 slice pizza and small salad
1700-small amt popcorn and 5 red vines
1930-1 small chicken soft taco, 1/2 c refried beans, 10 tortilla chips
Saw Letters to Juliet with DD. It was cute but glad I did not pay evening prices.

Yeah, I'm looking at what I want to get done on Saturday and shopping is getting pushed to Sunday ...LOL. But that's okay. Sunday is for catchin up..I'm doing laundry this morning and just made waffles..That CarbTHIN stuff exploded my waffle iron for the second time..so I called the number on the container (at 4:30 am PDT) and left them a salty message..LOL. You just don't mess with my appliances when I first get up, I guess.
 

I'm like you with the movies..I hate to spend money if I won't like it..and I don't like many movies..I'd rather wait till it's on Pay Per View and actually, I was going to get Avatar this weekend but I don't have time. LOL.

Hi Dawn - I'm going to try and remember what I ate Fri... I DO remember I didn't do real well...

B - 2 protein coffees
S - Atkins Advantage bar
L - greek yogurt with added protein powder
S - small bag of chips from machine (yikes!)
D - chips - tortilla and potato - whats the matter with me??
S - beer

Vits:  did good
Water:  did ok

Today was even worse....

Well, you started out good. Don't beat yourself up too much..it's not easy..Just keep trying..that's all I do. Each day is another do-over..

Snacking is really tough stuff if you don't have a back up plan..Being at the mercy of what is in the vending machine is really a license to fall on your face...so if you can bring a pack of peanuts or something in your pocket for "emergencies" you're much better off. I tossed a one oz mozzarella cheese stick in my lunch bag today. Just in case. I always pac**** packs with my water bottles and I had four with me today..and drank them all. It was going to be a while down the road till we could eat lunch so I had the cheese stick...saved my life!
