Accountability - Tuesday
I got up early this morning and had so much extra time but still didn't get a lot done. You know, that computer stuff takes way longer than i figure it should! LOL.
My eats:
� 5:00 am 1 whole serving of protein pancakes. It didn't make as much this time...I think I shorted on the cottage cheese. with butter buds sprinkled on after the sugar free pancake syrup
5:45 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Crystal Light Strawberry
8:00 am 1 pc turkey breast deli meat (no cheese this morning...forgot it!)
8:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Berry Lemonade
9:30 am 1 medium orange � 10:15 am 24 oz Drink Mix, GV Wild Strawberry
10:45 am 7 animal crackers and 1/2 serving of Naturally More peanut butter
11:30 am 12 oz coffee w/sf Vanilla syrup and soy milk � 12:45�pm 3 oz ham, 1 cup lettuce, 10 slices cucumber, 3 slices tomato, 1 oz thousand island dressing (this was NOT good...couldn't eat it all)
1:00 pm 3 large strawberries, 1 oz low fat cream cheese and splenda
1:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Berry Limeade
3:30 pm�12 oz Drink Mix, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated
4:00 pm 12 oz Gazpacho
4:30 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated
6:15 pm 2 chicken marinara parm patties, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes, 1/3 cup canned green beans
6:45 pm first attempt at Chocolate Caramel Protein Ice Cream (it will get better but it was yummy anyway!) �

well my bf saw the egg yolks on the couter top and he said why dont you eat them i said they are not good for me.. he thinks they are... grrr.. next time i will just have to give them to the dogs so he dont see them on the counter.. i told him to take the 2 banana's to work , he said no u eat them... grrrrr.. too many carbs i found out... hmmm maybe the dogs will eat them... lol..
i use some dry jello for my cottage cheese...yum. almost like a dessert.

3.2 mile run this morning all my water and such except that darn calcium. I will take it now before bed. Monthly staff meeting tomorrow. I am giving all my nurses their nurses week gift. A great book titled "Eat that Cookie". It is about having a positive work environment. I have one bad apple in a bushell of 25 but she spreads some of her rot to a few others once in a while.

S - Atkins Advantage protein bar (15g p)
L - leftover 1/3 omelette (15g p)
S - Greek yogurt with more protein (strawberry kiwi - yum) (15g p)
D - 5 chicken wings and 2 beers... (15g p)
S - kettle chips and another beer - ugh! (0g p)
Got all my vitamins and water in - no exercise. Ended up working 1 1/2 hrs past end time and missed my zumba class :(
I like the Syntrax Nectar protein powders - they have 0 carbs and are very good tasting - really like their chocolate flavor. It mixes well too. Just got their pink grapefruit in and haven't tried it yet - will tonight!

I also love the fuzzy navel - tastes so fresh and like orange juice to me. I haven't allowed myself orange juice since surgery because of the sugar and did miss it.
Its funny how our tastes change. Immediately after surgery and for close to a year I couldn't tolerate the "fruity" drinks - now I love them - they taste fresh and invigorating to me - very nice change of taste.

I've gotten in touch with how foods make me FEEL lately and the flavors that make me feel happy..I know strawberry is happy..I like pink lemonade too...berry limeade like Hawaiian punch... and they also have an orange. Orange to me is a start up..like breakfast, sort of energy. I don't do many real fruit juices but sugar free drink mix flavors help..
Isn't it funny how flavors make you feel?

Haven't posted on here in a while! It gets so hard for me to get on the computer some days. Being mom to 3 kids under 4 is busy!
Here was my Tuesday:
Breakfast - High protein oatmeal made w/ carb countdown milk
Lunch - Turkey, cheese, veggies on sandwich thin & greek yogurt
Snack - Almonds
Dinner - About 1 cup of white chicken chili, side salad
Snack - String cheese and an orange
Calories: 1180 Protein: 87
64 oz of water
