anyone experienced this after lap RNY?  I am almost three years out and recently had this problem...it is where the small bowel telescopes in on itself...had it surgically repaired this past week.

what are the chances of reoccurance?

any revisions of RNY after this?

I'm almost 5 years out, I just had open surgery 7 weeks ago for intussusception, they removed abt. 10 inches of small bowel. This was my second surgery in 3 mo. they didn't fix it the first time. He also did say that it was pretty much a revision. Good Luck!

thanks for your input..when you say they didn't fix it the first time, what do you mean?  did you have any surgery then?  or did then just send you home?  i'd like to avoid a revision if possible...thanks.

My husband had small intestines telescope when he was a baby in 1945..I have never heard of this in reference to us before. Interesting stuff. Do they know what causes it in us?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
