gained more weight than i can bear to share
Anyone out there have suggestions for me? I lost all my weight in approximately one year (RNY 11/06) at 5'3" I was at the lowest weight of 127...stabilized a bit and looked a bit better at about 135#...have about 5 lbs of loose skin so I decided I could live with it. However, the bad habits started to come back, grazing/snacking and lo and behold the calories added up. I am a frequent exerciser and very active and although I am careful, eat protein, etc, I realize the constant snacking/nibbling/grazing is hurting me. I must eat every 2 1/2-3 hours. I am getting my liquids in. My weight ha**** 146 lbs. I am very ashamed that this has happened. I desperately need/want to lose 10 lbs. I started a weight management class and am journaling my eating which really makes you more aco****able. What I would like is a sample diet plan from those who are successfully maintaining. Thanks.
I feel your pain ! I am 5 years out. I lost 148 lbs and have gained back about 50 lbs. I could sit here and give all kinds of excusesbut I know where I failed. I fell into eating carbs and believe me they are our enemy. Please read my post on words of wisdom. My best sujestion would to be to journal what you eat and how you feel daily. If you are interested in becoming email buddies please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Seems like we have alot in command. Remember to eat protein 1st. You know as well as I do , it does work. I personally am trying to eat less meat protein and more beans and other protein because I enjoy them more. You have taken a very important step my voicing that you have a problem. I for one am very proud of you. Many people struggle and many are to proud or ashamed to voice it and ask for help.
