Accountability - Sunday
Today was a work day around the house. My house is ready to be left with someone else running it for about 11 days..The girl staying here is my son-in-law's sister and the dogs and cats even like her. She'll do just fine! I showed her where everything is, I think.
My eats for Sunday:
B: about 3/4 of a serving of protein pancakes with reduced fat peanut butter. I strongly suspect that the beagle got a bit of them...she looks guilty and two of them were gone when I wasn't looking...
L: a prime rib and bleu salad at Denny's...well, half of one anyway. Decided I don't like bleu cheese that much. Tastes like moldy cheddar, I think.
D: 1 burger on an oroweat sandwich thin with mayo and cheese.
Didn't drink enough water. I drank 4 or 5 cups of coffee and only two containers (24 oz) water..I need more...but I did get all my vitamins.

Today I am getting ready to sort through my kids spring and summer clothes so I can make a little money. They have both been growing like crazy. My eight year old, no, actually she is 9 (just turned 9) is growing so fast. She said her sneakers were hurting this morning, a size 5 womens. Ugh!!!! I was hoping we could get to the end of the school year with this pair. I am thinking of starting to do the target sneaker thing instead of the good sneakers thing, because this is breaking the bank...These sneakers are 4 months old, come on! I have had the same sneakers since last year and they still look great! Any way....here is my food:

Tim Hortons XL Tea w/ 4 Lemons and splenda
2 Bottles of water at church, small 16 oz bottles
South Beach 10g protein Bar Peanut Butter
XL Tea again
Out for a Baptism celebration Yeah!!!!! At Red Robin (a chain)
I am sure there was MSG in the food~I had food coma afterward
Chicken Tortilla Soup minus the tortilla chips but I added sour cream (Cup)
I need to check to see how much this was in the "numbers". Plan to go on Red Robins website.
Side salad with charbroiled chicken Breast w/oil&vinegar
I felt like garbage after this lunch....
Snack Apple and 3 bottles of water, trying to flush the MSG out of my body!

Protein Bar (Peanut Butter) low sugar 10g
A can of Baby Peas w/ no salt added.
A slice of extra sharp cheese
A wasa cracker
(Can you tell I was home alone with that Dinner??)

This was NOT a good day for me. What do you think Dawn. What could I have done better. Protein too low??

That's it I'm tired of the late night snacking and the carb & sweats cycle that I keep going in. I'm starting the 5 day pouch test today & will follow the protein train right after that. I really need to get it together and get this last 40lbs off of my body and start planning for plastics. I started the morning well doing 30 minutes of Billy Blanks Cardio Boot Camp and had a bottle of water & 1/2 a bottle of Naked Protein Zone juice smoothie. I plan on having beef broth for lunch and to keep the water coming.

After you cleanse your system with the 5dpt, start back by cutting out the carbs...the longer you go without those bad carbs the easier it gets but you can't give in..You might want to start journaling your intake because alot of food has hidden carbs and it really pays to read those labels.

I didn't get online once this weekend. My eating was good on saturday but bad on sunday.. lots of carbs.
Saturday:
B-2 eggs scrambled w/ cheese, 3 strips of bacon
S-Tangerine
L- Grilled chicken sammy from Mcdonalds
S-1 serving of whole grain gold fish & string cheese
D-1 cup of shrimp, sausage and broccli alfredo
S-Light Yogurt
Sunday:
B- 1 medium pancake, 3 strips of bacon, 1 scrambled egg
L- 6" buffalo chicken sub from subway
S- 2 peanut butter cookies
D- 1 fried chicken thigh, 1/4 cup of steamed cabbage, 1/4 cup brown rice, 1/2 a roll
S-100 calorie ice cream sandwitch

Those carbs are killer when they start small. I can't start out with anything in the mornings or I'm over the top by evening...KILLER!
But you probably did next to no carbs on monday so it evened itself out.
