Accountability - Saturday
This has been a very quiet Saturday..We went out to breakfast, like we always do but our friends don't like our favorite restaurant so we went to theirs. We picked up a couple of things at the grocery store and then came home to get the paperwork together to get our taxes done. Never a fun day when we get the taxes done but it turns out they saved us about a hundred more dollars so we were relatively happy with that..At home, dh isn't feeling well. Not sure what the issue is but he's just not feeling right. So it's been one of those days.
My eats for Saturday:
B: 1/2 serving of protein pancakes with reduced fat peanut butter (I've decided this is what we will bring with us on the trip up north..most frozen into baggies..
2B: 2/3 of a big breakfast omelet with eggs (2), sausage (2), cheddar cheese (1 oz) and maybe a 1/8 cup of home fries..
Lunch: a barbequed beef sandwich made from left over braised roast beef, barbeque sauce, slice of american cheese and flat bread
Dinner: buffalo steak burger with 1 tablespoon of light ranch dressing
I had three containers of water, 3 cups of coffee..I should have another container of water..
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1863
Fat: 105.8
Carbs: 98.3
Protein: 140.2
I think I'm good with that. Not busy enough to keep from eating too many calories..If I have anything more it will be 100 calorie kettle corn...all carbs, no protein. But I think I'll wait until tomorrow because I have a great list planned for tomorrow! Including an egg taco from Denney's..because our friends don't LIKE Denney's and we do.

Hope DH is feeling better soon! Sounds like a nice mellow day! I missed my froup run because I could not leave my daughter alone; will be gald when hubby is home tomorrow! I played tetherball with DD and we planted flowers in our front yard. I hope they live it is a bit early up here to do so but it was pretty outside and we had been cooped up all week!

L-low carb tortilla,taco meat, lite cheese, and salsa and sf pudding cup
s-mango mantra 160 cal low fat sf with protein added; but still 30 carbs
D- baked chicken, brocoli salad, tiny baked potato
S-raspberries, sf angel cake and reddi whip
all my water and such. Will be back on track tomorrow with exercise and the rest of the week. Went to the store so I could make a few recipes. I am making eggfaces stuffed peppers, black bean soup and green egg bites. I also have everything for spaghetti and turkey meatballs for later in the week.

I'm so glad you and your daughter were able to play and be outside..I thought of Crocuses today. I remember seeing those peek through the snow in Montana in the early spring...LOL. It's funny what you remember! They showed the picture of the flowers peeking out and I knew exactly what they were!
I planted Hollyhocks and sunflowers in the previous rose garden (that was eaten by gophers a few years ago) and hope they'll come up too. And I bought two packets of Spaghetti Squash seeds I think I'll plant with the pumpkins later in the spring. I had gathered a bunch of seeds from when we cooked them late in the summer but I guess I cleaned the kitchen and tossed them!
Eggface is my hero for recipes! I love her. I belong to her bloggers list and I'm a fan of her facebook page too...LOVE HER.
