The dinner turned out really good and both of us bariatric patients could eat it without the spaghetti but everyone else (being denied the pasta for so long) ate it up..I think I cooked up two pounds of the stuff! I actually didn't have any left over, except a smidge of the sauce and a half cup of pasta..I'm figuring maybe the baby can eat it if we food process it...later this week while I"m gone.

You did good. I would rather have meatballs myself. I can't get that across to the dh but he's getting there. Do you make your own?

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Hello Dawn
Chicken cacciatore sounds wonderful!! I haven''t made that in a while. I cleaned out my cabinets today and found a big jar of marinated artichoke hearts. I have plans for them later in the week.

My good eats..

Breakfast: 2 med eggs scrambled with turkey sausage crumbles & 2% cheese

Lunch: 6" Veggie sub from Subway with extra cheese

Snack: The insides of a 6" veggie sub from subway anda few bites of the bread.
(I am totally addicted to these subs. I know there is no protein but it's so good)

Dinner: 2 BBQ pork ribs, 1/4 cup of baked beans and 1 deviled egg half.

Snack: 1 deviled egg half & 3 strawberries.

So, i realized that i don't drink enough liquids. I need to start sharing my  liquids as well to keep me in check.

It was crock pot cacciatore so it wasn't much work at all. Tonight I'm making my crock pot chili, by request. Their youngest son has always loved my chili...it's nothing fancy and I use those chili flavor packets...But I love Shawn...I"ll make my chili anytime he asks me to..

I have a jar of those too. I intended to use them for some recipe...can't remember which one! LOL.

Your last snack looks like our dessert: Lisa made sugar free jello for the kids. When I served it up I put coolwhip on top...they thought they were in a holiday resort! LOL. I do love guests but they are a trial sometimes. Especially when you aren't set up for babies and the young kids run through the house. I find myself yelling all day long when they're there..

You did awesome..You must be feeling better. I've decided that the funeral on Thursday will be really too crowded and I've already taken a day off to deal with the houseguests..I can't really afford to take more time off. I can monetarilly but not mentally..if that makes any sense..

Keep up the good work. See ya.

I actually prefer my burgers in a lettuce wrap. I think they call that a no carb or something..Hey, the carbs were really good carbs and the calorie numbers really rock...you did awesome.

Yeah, and the old saying guests and old food are no good after three days..might be accurate. I only have until Friday but I go back to work Wednesday. I've been this long baby proofing the house..I removed all the glass but the house plants were the next thing. I had potting soil all over the house..
