Hi, I'm Kay and I'm also addicted to facebook!

I got up early this morning and went shopping for the super bowl on Sunday. My family always goes to my mom's and watches the game. I'm making mini sloppy joe's and cowboy salsa.

My eating was no so good today. Too many carbs, not enough protein and not enough calories

B: 1 Medium banana pancake with SF syrup & 2 turkey sausage links

L: 1 slice of light wheat toast w/ 1/2 cup of manwich on top

D: 1 slice of light wheat toast w/ 1/2 cup of manwich on top

I got up at 3 am this morning because the rain woke me up and I managed to contain myself until 4:30 before I got on facebook...I have an aquarium that the fish need feeding; I have a couple of farms (FarmTown, FarmVille) that need tending...chickens, horses, sheep...sheesh..i have so much to do on my farms that it's driving me crazy. I'm sure I'll be retiring on FarmTown...I've reached level 60 so it's orchards for me on the first farm and long winded crops on the second one...FarmVille is just starting up, though..

LOL.

Carbs are way too easy. I can totally understand. Just keep after it. You're doing good. See ya.

Sadly, no. I don't exercise. I do walk alot and move more than I used to. The primary way that I am able to keep control over my weight now is by the calories that I eat and the water that I drink...I know. I know. I'm suppose to be headed for a fall but after nearly 4 years, I'm still struggling with demons.

I applaud those who are able to run and work out like that. I have a wii and I should get back on it. Basically, I'm lazy. I've even promised my doctor that I'll get back on there and use weights to help with osteoperosis (which I do not have but as a preventative)...

It's the same old story that everyone has. I should. I would. I could but I don't.

**Catching up** Seriously - i dont know why this week was soooo hard.
My numbers were off all week (cept for that 1 day), i was not able to exercise at all this week (for 1 reason or another, which basically = nothing but excuses. 1 day = a valid excuse. a whole week = not so much...)
the good news - i had my postop annual (for the 1st time since maybe 2006). Everything came back fine on my labs. No borderline diabetis, no other malabsorption issues, all levels are perfect eeexxceeepppttttt the iron count. I m severely iron deficient anemic (but i already knew that).
H esaid i should have to be taking extra protein (liquid or powder) b/c @ this far out, i should be getting enough protein from the foods I eat. The only vits i should be taking is a multi, cal-cit, B12 , B12 & iron - everything else im getting from the foods i eat. He put me on a different form of iron to help bring that level up. They'll retest the bloods in 2 months to see how im doing w/ the iron. He said at this point in the game - i should be exercising everyday for 30-45mins. They'll get me back on the program - get me reingaged & survey progress over the next 6 months.
I'll take that get right challenge :)

Those are the vitamins I take...except for iron. I usually can't take iron supplements because they cause such nasty constipation...So I get my iron from my food and my levels seem to be fine..the iron has actually gone UP. I get my labs taken every year and anything that is going down, even in normal range, is a concern...so I'm ALL OVER IT..I'm lucky because my PCP agrees with me. We even had some labs retaken in January to be sure something / everything was right..We'll see...she hasn't called me yet..maybe I'll be calling her.
