A different start to this day. I want to change it up alittle so I went back to the protein oatmeal..AND I got up late!

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/nsa swiss miss

6:30 am 1/3 cup quick oats, 1/4 cup fearn fine granule TVP, 1 cup Soy Milk Plain. includes a splash of strawberry sf syrup, splenda and butter buds

7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Lemon Berry

8:15 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 5 pc dry italian sausage, low fat

8:45 am 10 oz Jasmine Tea (real stuff from China brought back by a friend who just returned from there!) yum

9:45 am 1 medium grapefruit raw

10:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Lipton Peach Tea

11:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated

1:00 pm 1.5 cup cooked beans, 6-7 asparagus spears

2:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Strawberry Banana

3:45 pm 1 medium apple and 2 Tablespoons reduced fat peanut butter (super chunky)

4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Lemon Berry

6:00 pm chicken parmigiana, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts

Feeling pretty good about today, even though the carbs are high, they're good carbs..

How did you do?

Editted to add: I also had dessert so it's only fair to include that.
Dessert was a sugar free (well, actually really LOW sugar) s'more made with a graham cracker, a sugar free peep and a small sugar free hershey candy...all melted in the microwave..yummy but very very hot and not bad total wise. Totals for that are: Calories: 127, Fat: 4.9, Carbs: 92.6, Protein: 2.1.

So my totals for the day are:
Calories: 1771
Fat: 69.6
Carbs: 195.2
Protein: 111.1

So my carb total is a bit over the top but it's still not too bad. I'm okay with that. I'm extremely "munchy" this week because it's about time for that time, if you know what I mean...I always feel the calling of the carbs during that time..It's all good.

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Keep it going in the general direction and it will work...You can't turn that big ocean liner (your plan) on a dime, I have to think..Awesome.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

I don't have my post-it tracker note handy (I'm lying in bed watching Biggest Loser) on my Blackberry:

Coffee with skim milk
Blueberry Fage
Banana
went to gym midday, ran 3 miles
Recovery: pb and sf strawberry on low carb wrap
More coffee
3 turkey meatballs in sauce with cheese

And...I just ate pb out of the jar while in bed..not proud of it but it wasn't much at all and my cals are low for the day..

Cal: 1040 pre pb in bed
Carb: 105 (I think..that may be too high)
Pro: 54

Be happy.

Yes..with the protein so low those carbs are high. But if you looked at that banana, you'd see ALOT of those carbs right there. I'm really surprised at fruit being so high and it makes me worry little...but you just have to remember that all those fruit carbs are good carbs. Bananas aren't the BEST carbs but they are not bad. And if you were running, you used quite a few of them.

Working on getting any of your numbers up or down is a good thing. Keep up the good work. See ya.

Hello ladies.
Thanks for all the nice messages I received concerning my best friend, Quincy. The funeral was today so I'm very saddened but I'm ok. Tomorrow is his birthday.
At the last minute, i decided to come to work today because if I didn't, I would just stay in the bed and cry. Work has been busy

My good eats...

B: 2 medium boiled eggs

L: 4 chicken nuggets from mc donalds

S: 1 medium stalk of celery & 2 tbsp of pb

D: My leftover seafood steam pot.. mussels, crab, shrimp, red potato, sausage & boiled corn.

S: Protein shake

My grandmother used to say something about busy hands..and idle hands so being at work is a good thing! I'm glad you're feeling alittle better. It takes some time..It doesn't make it go away but it heals some of it.

Your list looks really good. Keep after it. I just love that seafood steam pot. I'd have to make it for one cuz I'm sure my boys would turn up their noses...I love fish, them? Not so much. dh just turned up his nose at the description...LOL.

My son loves fish too but hubby is "steer clear" of crabs...mostly because he's such a tender soul. We own and rescue land hermit crabs and for some reason, crab to him means pet and not food...me? I just love fish!

Kay gave us the recipe for that some time back. She's gonna have to give the recipe again because I can't recall...
