Phew! the back of my convertible leaked during the rains we had last week and that musty smell is still there. I've got some cleaning to do this weekend!   My eats for Thursday:

4:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

5:30 am 1/2 serving of protein pancakes with sf syrup and butter buds

6:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Lemon Berry (struggling to find a new flavor I like. Raspberry?...meh)

8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat

9:00 am 1/2 serving of protein pancakes with soy butter

9:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, GV Raspberry Tea (got too cold to drink it!)

10:30 am 10 oz Instant decaf w/NSA Swiss Miss

11:00 am 4 whole grain crackers

11:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated

1:00 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, GV Raspberry (can't stand to waste it but it's not great)

1:30 pm 1/2 cup turkey chili and 1 serving of salsbury steak (both leftovers from different dinners)

2:30 pm 1 medium tangerine

3:00 pm and then I went completely crazy and ate a 1/4 of a box of Wheat Thins...Probably about 3 servings cuz they were all in tiny pieces. This in NOT gonna look good on my totals..where was my head? And all that salt! Yikes.

4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, GV Fruit Punch

4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, GV Strawberry

6:30 pm 4 oz Tilapia fish, fried, 1/2 cup asparagus, 3 oz yams with butter buds

The carbs were not too bad for all those wheat thins. I love wheat thins. I had some last night with laughing cow and turkey pepperoni;yum! I had that right before bed I felt a bit shaky. I had an atkins bar after dinner which should not have dropped my blood sugar.
0730-protein drink-pre run
1000-cheerios and skim milk
1300-1/2 turkey sandwich on wheat and a cup of good minestrone

I am so full, but it was so good. I had a great run this morning the best since surgery! I think the iron infusion helped. I get another one tomorrow.

I know! It could have been much worse..but I know it's just the call of the carbs. Because I had a few earlier in the day, I bet..I don't do enough to justify that number for carbs..So I'll be hanging my head for a day or so and towing the mark for a few days..

You did good. My favorite is either grapefruit (peeled and eaten like an orange) or a tangerine...

Keep up the good work. I love that you run. I'm afraid my ankles and hips would cause all sorts of problems now...I already get sore from sitting crossed legged..

See ya.

I understand what your saying about ankle/knee/hip issues. Truth be told - many athletic runners have corrective surgery for torn muscles all the time. Its quite common in the runner's world from what I understand (even at a "young" age - like in their 30's).
I never have been able to run (being obese my entire life) - but one day, maybe I will.... Im gonna at least try! I t would be great to be "able" to run - even hold a nice jog. But in the mean time - I do a quick walk. Besides, Dr.s always say a quick walk is WAY less harmfull on your joints.

I should always say I use the term "run" loosely. I jog/run at a 11 minute per mile pace. That is slow! I would like to get to a 10 minute per mile pace. That is my goal for the year. I do have knee pain if i am too active with running and zumba. I am going to cut back on the zumba and add swimming laps. I just need to find a swimsuit.
Hold your head up high, rememebr the days where a 1/4  box of wheat thins led us to give up for the next month or even year. We have a bad day and move on and get right back on it now.

My car still jhas sand in it from the beach two weeks ago; I am going to get it taken care of this weekend! I will just ask my hubby; he loves to clean a car out. It gives him something to complain about!

You are SO right...Now a 1/4 box of wheatthins makes me feel guilty for the rest of the day and careful the day after but, basically, no where near pre-surgery!

My husband washes the outside of my car and I sort of keep the inside clean but I think this is a team cleaning task for the BOTH of us...but then it's suppose to rain this weekend so...I may be putting another towel back there to catch the water again and dealing with the musty smell NEXT weekend.

The weekends are just too short to stress over it! Have a good one..See ya.

No I just but the big box of reduced fat wheat thins and count out 16 for a serving. Then I count out 17 turkey pepperoni and grab one or two wedges of skinny cow wedges. This is one of my favorite snacks. It is kind of a big snack so have it on nights where dinner was light.
I get mad if anyone just takes a handful of any of "my" snacks. I have it all portioned out and it throws off my snack c ount when they do that!

What Morgansmommy said (Thanks Mary!) it was the whole grain wheat thins and the serving is 16 crackers per...when you get a box like mine that has no whole crackers left and you eat about a cup and a half of pieces...I know for sure it's more than a serving or two. I counted it as 3 servings but I'm leaning more toward 4 or 5 but there are 9 servings per box so...it's a guess.

LOL. This morning with my protein waffles my protein counts are through the roof and I have to add a raw pear just to even it out...One day doesn't a failure make! We just have to remember that; pick ourselves up and keep going..

Have a great weekend!

umm - how/where are you getting these protein waffels & pancakes?!?!
I will have to try that box of wheat thins (instead of falling for the marketing spin & getting the 100cal mini packs). might just be a better buy.

lol - when ever i hear stuff like "One day doesn't a failure make! We just have to remember that; pick ourselves up and keep going.."  it always makes me think of Finding Nemo & Dori singing Just keep swimming just keep swimming
