Accountability - Sunday

Well, I have no idea what the counts are like but here's the list for Sunday:

1B: 1/2 serving protein waffles with CARBThin and an egg (30 grams of protein right there)

2B: 2 eggs, 4 sausages, 2.5 slices of french toast with no syrup but plenty of butter

L: nothing...actually. 2 bottles of water I guess.

D: 4 oz of chicken breast, roasted, 2/3 cup cooked fresh broccoli, 1 small red potato, boiled.

Dessert: 2 slices sugar free blueberry bread with butter.

I'm figuring about 100 grams of protein..about 1700 calories.

Tomorrow I will do the numbers but this was my last of four days off and I was lazy over my accountability..

The trip was awesome, the weather was horrible and scary. snow, rain, blowing hail...it was horrible but the car show was just wonderful. We spent an hour in the parking lot after dark in the freezing rain looking for our car but otherwise, it was a fun time..

Fats are something we need to keep our skin soft and moisturized so I dont' stress too much over fats...I try and make them good fats with avocado or fish oil types...olive oil too...butter is another good fat, I think.

You did awesome on the carbs! Keep up the water though, cuz that high protein number without enough water to flu**** is hard on your kidneys..

Good job! awesome awesome...Keep up the good work. See ya.

I don't stress over fat either becuase it goes right through me. I'm way more concered about high carbs and calories.

Welcome back, by the way. Thanks for your continued support

You're right! It took me quite some time to realize that the fat in my foods was keeping my skin moisturized and going through more than "sticking."

Thanks for the welcome back. I didn't miss doing the accountability thing but get nervous the longer I don't...Mostly because when I'm not at my desk, I don't drink enough water for some reason. I know I'm doing bad while I'm not at work but I'm working on it.

I understand what you are saying about the fats (& making it "good" fats). I think the high numbers freak me out as a result of old patterns. We were taught that if we want to lose weight, we need to eat low caleries, low fat, low sugar (old school).

But thank you so much! I feel really good about the changes that Ive implemented & the progress ive made thus far.

In no way do I drink anywhere close to even 16oz of liquids, but i'll work on increasing that & i'll be sure to include that in my daily log. (maybe thats why im getting headaches)

You could be on to something there with the water...If I don't get enough I get cranky and headachey too. Dehydration is a dangerous thing but like I said, it's all about building a habit where that is concerned.

Ya - sadly, i can go a week w/ no water whatsoever. i really dont care for water - so its very hard for me to ingest. i was surviving on coffee & diet coke! until i realized that i was basically choking (starving) my system. Then when i started taking all these vitamins, i knew i had to increase the water consumption b/c i didnt want to over tax my organs by not flushing them.

Im working on increasing that daily amount. Ive made it over 40oz for the past 2 days (which is a huge improvement for me, but not where I should be - i know).

It's getting back to normal, I can see! Yeah!

When the CT scan is done and you get the all clear, don't go crazy and eat a whole pizza. LOL. Just Kidding..Like you have room for that!

I have a protein powder that I use in my iced coffee that I make at home but it's just too darn cold for that lately..So hot coffee is it..that or hot tea. I just can't get warm after the Thursday evening trying to find my stupid car in the freezing rain in Scottsdale...scary stuff. I was starting to turn blue, my husband said. It scared him..
