EXERCISE CHECK
I was having a conversation the other day w/ a gf @ work regarding working out. She ask if my PCP had cleared me for cardio *** no - they just told me to work out & asked how many times/week im working out).
So that got me thinking...
Did your PCP give you a specific WO plan to follow?
What are you doing to work out? (how many reps/ mins/etc)
What have you incorporated into your WO?

With that, I hate WO - I hate sweating. So it's very hard for me to stay motivated & be consistent w/ my WOs.
Do you have the same issue?
How have you combatted it?
How do you stay motivated?

The first my Dr heard I was running was when I went in and said something to the effect of "I'm running 5K two times a week now." He asked, "Any problems?" I said no, and then he said, "Keep it up" Unless you have heart problems, I think you're safe.
The way I look at it, excercise needs to be something like brushing your teeth, taking a shower: it's just something you MUST do. Yeah, you're tired, you sweat, etc. There is no choice.
I run two times a week (like I said). This is really about a choice between excercise or eating less. I like eating, so I excercise.
Two times a week I do strength training. This is more of an "investment" because you won't see immediate weight loss (perhaps even a gain) but the muscle you build will eventually need more calories to maintain the same weight.
