I made a bunch of waffles to freeze for our son..I got to feeling alittle sorry for myself...So on the back of this stuff I got from netrition (you know, to pad my order...lol) and saw that I could make CHOCOLATE WAFFLES>>>yum.
So this morning I got out the tub and the eggs and alittle water and tossed it in the waffle maker. OMG..
The recipe is this:
3 scoops CARB Thin
1/2 cup water, selter or club soda
3 eggs.
probably would make 1 and a half of my belgian waffle maker. So I figured I usually have two eggs. I'll make 2 scoops, 2 eggs and a splash of water to make it the right consistancy.
It made two 5 inch waffles. Put on the 1/2 serving of margarine (usually I use butter buds but I was feeling alittle splurgy today) and a half serving of sugar free syrup (Log cabin) . I can only eat ONE of these things so the other will be a snack.
The stats on one scoop of this stuff is this:
98 calories
0 fat
0 cholesterol
180 sodium
0 carbs (YES>>>0 CARBS)
0 sugars
24 protein...
so for my one waffle, butter and syrup:
Calories: 240
Fat: 11.0
Carbs: 5.9
Protein: 30.3
I still have one bite left and I don't think I can get that down..

That sounds soooo yummy. When we get back from Disney (leaving a week from tomorrow) I am going to go buy some of that. Where did you that from (where did you buy it)?
Sounds like a yummy thing I can make for the whole family!
Does it taste good too?
