Well, I did miss my vitamins today...shee****hought I was doing good but it turns out I got so excited about my chocolate waffles I missed something and that was VITAMINS!
My day in foods:
B: Protein Chocolate Waffles (ala Healthsmart CARB Thin) with actual margarine and sugar free syrup...just alittle. I hate too much syrup on waffles, makes em too mushy
L: Pesto Turkey burger from Trader Joes on a sandwich thin, processed cheddar cheese and mayo
Snack: the other chocolate waffle (these are REALLY good).
Dinner: 2 servings of Banquet frozen beef stew and a jiffy corn muffin to soak up the juice..
Maybe carb heavy today...but still, it's all good.
totals for the day:
Calories: 1520
Fat: 75.3
Carbs: 97.0
Protein: 112.7
I don't think I missed anything. I could have dessert and that would add calories and carbs...I'd still be okay with that. My sodium totals might be alittle high because those packaged meals (turkey burger and banquet meal) are loaded with that stuff...that's why the scale was up a pound..Yesterday I was 126 and tomorrow I can probably count on being 127...But we'll see.

Kay,
Take it easy! I am nearly three months out from my hernia repair and TT and still have some"tired" days. I felt good early out and did not rest as I should have. When it was time to go back to work I had a mild virus that knocked me off my feet for a week.Glad you are feeling well enough for a trip to Target. Try sipping on a EAS to keep your blood sugar steady; nothng wrong with a few tootsie roll minis either!

Yeah, what she said! The last thing you wanna do is too much and end up back in the hospital with complications...yikes.
Looks like you're still on pretty soft stuff but it's getting back to normal. Great!
See ya.

It's more of a ratio goal for me..I keep my carbs lower than my protein. Maybe higher than my fat but I stay as far away from white enriched carbs like bread, pasta and rice as possible. I do go for those multi grain sandwich thins and they have alittle more carbs than I like but if I do have carbs they come from veggies or fruits for the most part. Sometimes a sandwich is just necessary!
For me, if I start out with a heavy carb meal, it means all day the bad carbs are calling to me so I have to stay away from them early in the morning. Sometimes even my oatmeal with protein is too much...
