Accountability - Saturday

Not the Same Dawn
on 1/2/10 8:30 am - BEE EFF EEE, CA

The day started out hopeful that I would get some activity in but soon fell flat. dh was not feeling well. Mostly vegetative all day long. I did work on my scrapbooking and that means standing up so at least there was that. I did some laundry and watched a LOT of television...sigh..

My eats for the day:

1B: coffee w/ nsa swiss miss, 1/2 protein pancakes

S: 4 oz shrimp with ****tail sauce and tartar sauce.

2B: Second half of that protein pancakes

S: 24 oz drink mix,

L: left over 1/4 lb burger patty with 1/2 slice of cheddar cheese, dipped in sour cream dip and 4 thin slices of tomato (also left over)

S: 24 oz drink Mix, 10 oz coffee w/nsa swiss miss, 10 oz chocolate herb tea

S: 1/3 protein sugar free microwave chocolate cake from several nights ago (finally figured out how to calculate it)

Dinner (early): 1 cup of meatloaf, 1/3 cup spaghetti sauce and 1/2 a serving of whole wheat pasta. It was really filling and had 41 grams of carbs in it...but if I ever really want pasta again (I don't) it would be good.

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1528
Fat; 70.8
Carbs: 108.3
Protein: 130.0

Now, I know it's early and I know I'm going to want a snack later...Maybe I'll keep with jus****er cuz Lord knows, I need it..I did get ALL my vitamins though..

How are you doing?

Hey Dawn.
I love scrapbooking! My favorite one that I've done so far is my "WLS journey scrapbook".
My day was good.. I woke up earlier than normal then cooked a big breakfast for me and my 2 friends that are visiting from NC. After breakfast, we hit the outlet malls for about 3 hours of shopping, toured downtown with lots of walking, had lunch at a local seafood restaurant then came home and took a 2 hour nap. We are all up getting dressed for a night of fun and dancing after we eat dinner at Outback steak house.
I thought I'd check here while they got dressed. It doesn't take me long to make me cute.. LOL

My good eats...

B: 1 scrambled egg with cheese, 2 sausage links, 2 slices of bacon, 1/2 a hash brown pattie and 2 bites of a cinnamon roll.

S: Big cup of coffee w/ splenda and half n half

L: Baked flounder, 1/2 of the brown rice that was on my plate, Side salad.. proud of me for making the right choice. I wanted fried coconut shrimp!

S: A sample of pecan fudge from the fudge shoppe and 1 bite of Pb fudge that my friend got

D: I always get the Tbone with baked potato and steamed veggies. (I'll report back later of how much I ate and how many light  beers I consume at the club

Sweet dreams, ladies

Good d ay so far! Slept in and missed my group run so had to run by myself;2.25 miles. Got my haircut which I always enjoy/ A trip to Costco, then took my DD and a friend to the Y so they could swim. Made dinner and then we went to see the Blind side but it was sold out. Will watch a little TV and go to bed early.
B-Premier Protein drink from Costco 30 gr protein. I like EAS better
S-fiber one bar
L-Costco hot dog no bun
S-apple
S-McDonalds snack wrap w most of tortilla pulled off
D-hamburger patty w 2% cheddar, sweet potato, canelope
S-baked cheetos and maybe a sf hot chocolate
shy on the water by just a bit and I just realized no vitamins; I will take them before bed.

Ooo OOooo...Do they give you the costco dog without the bun or do you just take it out of the bun? I need to go to costco sometime, maybe next weekend and I REALLY miss costco dogs! Did you eat it with a fork?

DH is feeling better, I'm thinking Costco can be one of our excursions today.

I use generic protein from Walmart but I mostly use it for making my protein microwave cakes..I haven't had a protein drink in some time...I guess in an emergency, it would be okay.

Keep up the good work...see ya.

I just threw the bun away. According to the daily plate the hot dog itself is 320 calories! This is a once in awhile treat!
Glad DH is better; mine is such a drama king when ill!

Mine is too. I can be a nurse for any of the kids but I lose it with dh...I'm more like nurse ratchet with him..He HAS to get better because I'm usually done after a couple of hours of whining...

Still a meal that is 320 calories isn't bad. Three of those is only 900 calories give or take..And those dogs are BIG...
