Sunday and I didn't bake. I actually stayed out of the kitchen again..for a while. I got HALF my vitamins in...still working on it. I got in about half my water too. I did have some herb tea so that warmed me enough..

B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk and some sugar free pumpkin pie filling.

S: 24 oz Drink Mix water

2B: 2 fried eggs, 4 oz ribeye steak, 2 slices sour dough toast, no crust

S: 24 oz Drink Mix water

S: 2x10 oz herb tea with splenda

No lunch but I did have a late meal, probably dinner in two stages.

D: 3/4 cup homemade turkey chili with beans and corn bread (in the bottom of the bowl)

2D: 3/4 cup homemade turkey chili with beans and cornbread in the bottom...

STUFFED! Iknow I may have another couple of cups of herb tea tonight. I'm all out of sf pumpkin pie..all out of everything that I baked but some of the cookies I saved for my son...Not sure why those aren't calling to me..maybe I'm growing some strength? NAH...just not into stealing cookies from my child..He'll steal my sugar free stuff but I won't steal his cookies that I made for him...

I had my usual Sunday. Taught Sunday School to 3 wound up little boys. Glad my month is over, I need a break! A little housework, went to the Y and got in a short run. I am still trying to work back up to where I was before surgery, it is a slow process! Dropped off my daughter to a slumber party then went out to dinner and a movie with my husband. We saw It's Complicated. It was totally predictable but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I tracked all my eats on the daily plate; o.k calorie wise but short on protein!
B-1 egg, 1/4 C fried potatoes and a protein drink
S-cookies
L spaghetti sauce with meat and steamed chopped brocoli
S-fiber one bar
D-1 fresh spring roll, egg noodle soup(left at least 2/3 of the noodles)
S-popcorn and 4 milk duds
S-cookie-the rest of these are going to work in the morning!
ran 2 miles walked one, all my water and vitamins; including my calcium!
Have a great week everyone!

It's nice when you can get a date night alone...it's not the same at our house...our son is 18 and would rather be isolated in his room. It's like dating anyway for us! LOL. Now I'm trying to find places and things that HE'LL like to do with us...it's just not happening.

Yeah, the protein was a no show in your list but you tend to do alot that burns up those carbs. Running and working out at the Y..not a problem. Tomorrow, more protein.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Hey Dawn.

Since my carb feast on Christmas, it's all I want. How in the heck do I get back on track? What is wrong with me? Tuesday I'm going to do the plateau buster diet or the pouch test diet. That usually helps me get back on track.
I feel like I've been temporary hypnotized with carbs... LOL

Saturday:

Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled w/ ham & cheese and 1 slice of light  wheat toast

Lunch: 1 slice of turkey, 1/2 cup of greens & 1 wheat roll

Snack: small slice of sweet potato pie

Dinner: 2 slices of turkey, 1/4  cup of mac n cheese, 1/4 cup of cabbage

Snack: handful of popcorn & diet hot chocolate

Sunday:

Breakfast: 1 whole wheat pancake w/ SF syrup & 2 strips of turkey bacon

Lunch: 1/2 a ham and cheese sandwich

Snack: small piece of rum cake

Dinner: 2 slices of turkey, 1/4 cup of stuffing, corn on the cob

Snack: 1 gingerbread man cookie

Carbs for every meal. I am wayyyy off track!  I'm totally disgusted with myself

It's really hard so don't kick yourself too badly..I figure it's harder to fight back after having the carb fest than to just steer completely clear of the whole thing...AT least that's what keeps me from stuffing myself with cookies all December long...

My son is very philosophical on this stuff. He says "That's why you got fat in the first place, Mom.' and he's right. Carbs are just like crack!

Fight it, it's worth it...but it's really hard.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

I missed it, I guess...For Tuesday? I had a really low calorie day on Monday. It didn't feel like it but the numbers were/are low...maybe I missed something. I totally blew the whole day and didn't put anything on fitday for yesterday. When I started updating, I realized I was updating SUNDAY and not Monday...what a ditz!

See ya.
