Well, my vacation is nearly over. It's been a whirl wind! I think I need to go back to work to get some rest! LOL. J/K. But I did have a wonderful time off. Today I worked hard to get back on the straight and narrow.

Breakfast: the other half of the protein pancakes

Lunch: chicken breast sandwich with ortega chilis, swiss cheese, 2 slices tomato, pickles, all wrapped in lettuce... and a small portion of a dinner salad with ranch dressing

Dinner: salsbury steak (by Banquet) with left over mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole and a small dinner roll..

No snacks! Not enough water (72 oz only-for me enough is 120 oz) and most of my vitamins..I still have one more calcium dosage to take.

I'll probably have another 20 oz of herb tea...

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1193
Fat: 64.2
Carbs: 72.1
Protein: 87.9

Hmmm. I way over did it yesterday but didn't do enough today. I think it was because after messing around this whole week with not keeping track, I had the scale show me two pounds up this morning...I weighed 128 from 126 last monday.

How did you do? Even if you did really bad, you can wallow in your own self pity or you can pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep trying. It's worth it! Keep trying. None of us is perfect and none of us can do this all alone...Support eachother, it really does help.

Have a wonderful Monday!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

See? That's what I'm talking about! You gradually bring it back into line and that's the way to do it...I'm all over the map, either ALOT or not enough...

Keep up the good work...see ya.

I know it! I think having to write just the stuff I ate down caused me to stop and take stock of what i was doing...even if I didn't keep track of calories and protein..Time to get back on the straight and narrow. Holidays are wonderful but the ultimate goal is not dependent on eating well each and every day but more like 85% of the time...Holidays will come and go...the struggle is here to stay.

Keep after it. It's worth doing!
