Accountability - Saturday

I had a second chance to over do it for Thanksgiving today. Our friends invited us over for their dinner today. I had planned to have turkey and mashed potatoes and just gravy but they had a green bean casserole that included brussel sprouts! OMG. I couldn't pass that up and she made a sugar free banana creme pie for me and her dad...I did eat more than I planned on.

B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, sugar free caramel syrup

2B: 4 oz prime rib, 2 fried eggs, 1/4 cup cottage cheese

Snack: 1 sweet potato dinner roll and 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick

L: 1/2 serving of protein pancakes with 1/2 oz cream cheese and sugar free pancake syrup

D: 4 oz turkey breast, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes, 2 oz gravy

The total at this point:

Calories: 1599
Fat: 72.0
Carbs: 94.7
Protein: 150.4

The protein number probably stayed the same but if I had to guess, I'd say I had at least 1900 calories, and 130 carbs..

How did you do? This has been a long vacation..Tomorrow is headed more toward normal, I think. By Monday I should be on the straight and narrow again..

2 eggs, 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/3 cup carbquick or fiber one pancake mix (the low carb kind). I bought carbquick at www.netrition.com and it's pretty good with pretty good numbers. I usually get six medium or 8 tiny pancakes out of this but try as I might, I can never eat more than half of them...they're really filling. So I make the whole batch but only eat half and take the other half to work for my second breakfast..

Mrs Butterworth's sugar free syrup is really good...and low cal. 1/4 cup is 25 calories. Not bad at all.

Fiber one low carb pancake mix...that's about the same as carbquick. It's totally sugar free so it shouldn't make you dump but take it slow because they really fill you up.

Mrs Butterworths has sugar free. Also, smucker's has sugar free syrup too..both are wonderful! I had breakfast at IHOP a couple weeks ago and there was some on the table.

A true left over day...yummy and fewer refined carbs. Good job. Better than me, that's for SURE!

Keep up the good work. See ya.
