Accountability - Friday
Another day of no numbers. Didn't do much in the way of exercise but did get our Christmas cards ready to go...sent out about 12 of them. Went and did alittle shopping but mostly didn't do much and thought I lost my cell phone..
Breakfast: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk
Lunch: Sandwich Thin with turkey and sugar free cranberry sauce plus mayo
Dinner: turkey dinner, stuffing, mashed potatoes...small plate. 1/2 a serving of sugar free pumpkin pie (the last of it).
No snacks, not enough water but I did get my vitamins
How did you do? I don't think I had more than 1300 calories. Not enough protein but carbs like nuts.
I'll try better to get my numbers down tomorrow.

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Did you dump before the M&M's? Might have been the pecan pie...that stuff is ALL sugar with some nuts tossed in.
There's always tomorrow..Keep after it. It will turn around.

the pie was what made me dump i'm certain of it
i was driving to a friends house out in the country - very dark and i didnt know how to get there - that's when the dumping feelign started
so, i came across this little country store and stopped and got the M&Ms to make my blood sugar go back up - so i could make it the rest of the way - if i had been at home in the safety of my bed - i probably could have sweated it out - but, i was jittery and shaking and sweating - it was kinda skeeerrrryyyy being out there by myself and not feeling well
it kinda suprised me - i guess because i didnt dump until a couple of hours later - i took a glass of water with me - and drank a bunch of it in the car - and i guess it washed all that food out of my pouch ?

MIght have been a combination of dumping and reactive hypoglycemia...Not something to mess with too much! A friend on another board had her blood sugar go down so bad that she actually blacked out while driving! She had just enough time to pull over and park..woke up a couple hours later...It really is scary!
