Accountability - Thanksgiving
After days of preparation, a half hour of actual eating and an hour of clean up..its over.
Here's my eats for the day:
B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, PB2
Snack: coffee with NSA Swiss Miss
Snack: coffee with NSA Swiss Miss
Lunch: Sandwich thin with a hardboiled egg, relish and mayo
Snack: sugar free pumpkin pie (half a serving)
Dinner: turkey breast meat, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato roll with butter, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, sugar free cranberry sauce, stuffing and sugar free pumpkin pie.
I have no idea what the numbers would look like. The amounts I had amounted to very little but the list sure looked impressive.

regardless of my good intentions i ate
breakfast:: protien shake
snack: boiled egg
lunch a little bit of turkey, a little bit of green beans, and a tiny drop of cranberry sauce
a one hundred calorie beer! ( iknow i know) and one pinch of jalepeno cheese bread
i thought i did pretty good -
until - we got out that tray that had all of the different kind of cheese cakes on it
almost everyone was gone except frot those of us who were doing dishes and putting up food - so, we decided to take a bite of each one
and between the four of us - ate four pieces of cheesecake - - which means - i guess i ate a whole piece of cheese cake
snack: hot tea

i gotta go to bed - so i dont go in there and eat something elsE!

I have trouble with cheese cake too...so I don't have it in the house..
I ate a bite of this and a bite of that too...It sounds like alot more than it was..When you put 1/8 cup of mashed potatoes on your plate with gravy (maybe a tablespoon) and still have some left on your plate when you clear the table, I think that's okay.
I bet if someone wrote down the calories you actually consumed (and me too) while we were eating them, we'd both still be well under 1500 calories for the day...even with your 100 calorie beer..

I know I am seriously late but I haven't been online and I wanted to see my Thanksgiving day menu all written out.
B: 1 boiled egg, half a biscuit with white sausage gravy on it.
L: 1 big slice of ham, mac n cheese, collard greens and wheat roll
S: 1 small slice of sweet potato pie
D: 1 slice of turkey, 1 slice of ham, mac n cheese, collard greens and stuffing
S: Pear
S: Thin slice of pumpkin bread
