Accountability - Tuesday
The day was up and down...The appointment with my doctor was good. She said my bone density low of center but in normal range according to the bone density scan. Since it's the only one I've ever had, we'll re-do it next November and see what, if anything, happens. For now, I'm looking for chewable Calcium Citrate with D...just to be on the safe side.
After being invited to my daughter's house, we were un-invited a week ago so I went forward with having our own meal. Today she emailed me that we can come to her house...I'm alittle hurt by the un-invite and the less than cordial re-invite...so we'll still be eating here and not there. Maybe I'm overly sensitive this time of year but that's not unusual. I really should call my sister but she would just go to my daughter with it anyway so I'm stuck here, spilling my guts.
I didn't let the hurt feelings effect my eating too much. That is a major breakthrough for this stress/emotional eater!
B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk and sugar free caramel syrup
2B: 2.5 egg omelet with mushrooms and swiss..and a few bites of grits with butter..yum. Oh, and a slice of wheat toast, no crust
Lunch: hmmm. a slice (1/8) sugar free pumpkin pie. According to the nutritional figures it's only 52 calories...how bad can that be?
Dinner: 1/4 lb lean burger, 1 oz jack cheese and a sandwich thin...yum. And a small portion of store bought potato salad..
Other than the overly high carb number, I did alright..I may even have a second piece of pumpkin pie...

In the grand scheme of things, nothing I do is really important either.. But my dog thinks so. LOL.
You did good. I hope you did awesome on the test..Probably cuz you had the brain fuel to do well.
Keep up the good work. See ya.

There are a couple schools of thought on that. Some people say you have to have breakfast or you won't jump start and some people won't eat breakfast because it makes them hungry all day. I found both to be true. Carb heavy breakfasts usually keep you craving carbs all day long (pancakes, toast .. all that stuff) but if you have a good protein start (eggs, bacon..), it will keep your blood sugar up and not drop it...If you can't eat because the meds make you nauseous, maybe just a protein shake..it's not like really eating but you do need something to get you started. Perhaps a protein coffee or something. I can't live without my coffee...
Just an observation on your list and your weight in your signature. Seems a bit light on both accounts! See ya.
