Was wondering if everyone would share what they take everyday.

I was thinking it would help me to see if I am missing something that everyone else is taking.

Please share, looking forward to your opinions.

PS:  Love reading the accountability threads, really helps me to think about what I am eating and what I shouldnt be eating, Thanks!

Vitalady:

When you list all those individual vits, are those an individual pill for each one (if it is that is fine)?

If I am thinking about trying to have a baby (next year) any additional supplements you recommend?

What about Fish oil?

Looking forward to hearing more, and thank you so much!

Which reminds me, I take folic separately, too. LOL

Basically, yes. Iron is more like 12 pills, but many of the others are 1 only. Calcium is tons and tons, because I'm fighting an uphill battle.

Some of them are according to labs, so adjusted to fit. But I didn't always take this many. It's been 15 yrs, and as we learn more, test more, see the results, adjust.

Even RNY don't absorb fats/oils to any reliable degree, so if I took fish oil, it'd be Coromega. Fish oil in a non-oil form. I'm off and on about that, cuz if I can't swallow it in a pill, I don't take it. I prefer B12 shots over sublinguals, for example.

I'm good with protein, vites. Perfect. Slacker on water and exercise. I diligently work on water.

If you wanted to talk to me more about teeny details, my email is [email protected]

But I'll post the list of labs I think we need and the levels *I* target for myself under a separate post, ok?

Thank you so much for this information.  I can see, by what you are taking, I am missing somethings I need to take.  Dr.  only recommended some of them, but I know it is bare bones (his recommendation).  Asked my ob (looking to start trying in March/April) and said I didnt need to add anything except Folic acid.

I am 40  and want to make sure I am on top of it  way before we starting.

Thanks again for posting this information.  I know it's things we should know (and I am sure you have posted this information  MANY MANY times before) but we get far away from the beginning and we forget.  I dont want to forget!

I will email you tomorrow, thank you,
Melissa
