Accountability - Saturday
A quiet day around here. Washed some clothes and did some shopping. alittle walking. The one thing is, I didn't get all my water in..
1B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk and some PB2 with chocolate
2B: 1/2 a steak and eggs breakfast. 3 oz beef steak, 2 fried eggs, 1/4 cup home fries and 2 slices wheat toast no crust
L: homemade chili con carne with beans, 1-1/2 cups
Dinner: 2 oz beef patty with 1/2 cup homemade spaghetti sauce with meat over rice pilaf
No dessert but I did have a short snack..2 pieces of York Pepperment Patty...bad news. I got nauseous afterwards..I wont' be having TWO pieces again. One or none will be it. just didn't agree with me.
For a weekend, I didn't do too bad. I can do better and I get another chance to do better tomorrow.

Good protein and the carbs weren't too bad. Probably could have skipped the home fries and the toast but ... well, I didn't. I needed more water and that is a problem. I'm also adjusting my vitamins. I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm getting too much calcium (and the wrong kind) but I'll have that verified with my PCP on the 23rd..
How did you do today? Keep trying. It's worth doing. And be thankful this time of year..it's good for what ails you..or is that ales you? LOL. In whatever case, I'm thankful for my RNY and thankful that I get another chance each and every day to try again to get this right..You try too.
B: Special K protein cereal w/ 8 oz FF calorie countdown milk
S: Banana
L: 3 oz Hamburger patty w/ cheese, ff mayo and onions. Wrapped in lettuce
S: Small peice of birthday cake
D: Leftover seafood.. crab, shrimp, mussels and sausage
That's it for me!
ooooh. Seafood. Yum. I find I crave that stuff all the time. We've run out of tilapia and I really need to find some on sale.
