Good Morning! I believe you just did! Welcome. I'm really glad to see someone as far out as you doing so well with your weight. Are you struggling or have you? So many do and it makes me really nervous. Welcome aboard..
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Yes Iv'e been very fortunate ,stayed at 170 forever it seemed , but then dropped down to as much as 97 scared the chit out of me , then found out I had to have my thyroid destroyed, and put on meds for it back to 124 and holding . Hate to say this out loud , but haven't had to give up too much of anything can eat it all with no problem , had ru/y checked a while back doc said it was just like new in there , yeah for me . Guess that Iv's been blessed. was 10 yrs out this past august 24th . I love this website . I'm 67 and have a few health problems , one being prenal neuropathy which is very painful at times and COPD . My hubby has Azheimers and I fffffffff hate it more everyday . The very worst mistake was marrying him 21 yrs ago never loved him to start with and now I'm right in the middle of it all . Life goes on I guess , only with Gods grace I guess . Well thank you for inviting me , Will be nice to get to know all of you ....Sandy

Welcome Sandy. Congrats on your 10 yr success. I'm 4.5 yrs out and have been holding my weight steady for 3.5 yrs now,
Re; your husband, I understand your feelings, I remarried my first husband who was shot in the head in VietNam, severe head injury. I have recently seen a big decline and neediness over the last 2 yrs. I feel like a nanny most of the time. 41 yrs of this gets trying...but I hang in there when I remember how he got in this situation to begin with. Lots of patience and prayers & biting my tongue, I think finding new friends always helps...we are all here even if we don't post everyday.
