I was hopeing for a 2 pound loss but was thrilled with the 3. I found the WW plan very easy to follow, not alot of restrictions. I think its a good plan because it lets you have  ( good ) carbs in proportions, and not telling you not to eat them at all.  I cant stick to a no carb diet , plus they are good for you. I have to drink at least one protein drink a day to get my protein in but it works OK. Makes me want to try even harder this week, have a good day, Deb

That is cool! Motivation is the key and you know your needs so it's going to work! Awesome..
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Congrats on your weight loss! I'm happy you are sharing your success. I get messages all the time from people asking me if WW worked for me! Before I joined WW, I was afraid of  carbs. It does show you that it's ok to have carbs as long as you balance out your day.

Good luck! I hope you have a good 2nd week

WW is very gastric bypass friendly. The flexability is great and the fact that you can eat what works for you. My mom and grandma are lifetime members. I am doing WW right now.

To all of you still reading my post I lost another 3.2 pounds my second week and have to tell you that I have rediscovered my pouch. It likda feels like when I was about 4 - 6 months out, I get full really fast when I eat the high fiber foods on the WW plan, its just amazing. I was beginning to wonder how I could eat so much but now its really wonderful, Im so excited, I'll keep posting, thanks for all your support, Deb

Congratulations on your success so far!!!

I would like to know if you would share with us what a typical days menu looks like for you.  I am curious because I still need to lose about 15 lbs to get to my personal goal and I was thinking the only way for me to get there is by no or very low carbing it.  However, I enjoy having a piece of wheat toast with my eggs in the morning or switch my toast for oatmeal other mornings... and of course enjoy fruit.

Please do share your menu...that would help me tremendously.

Thanks a bunch!!!

The weigh****cher plan is based on a point system. When you join they calculate how many points you need a day to lose weight by how much you weigh and how active you are. I can have 26 points a day and I earn 4 points aday because I go to water arobics every morning. This is a typical day for me.
Beakfast,Coffee with skim milk
Fiber one cereal w/1/2 banana
skim milk
or
1/2 bagel and scrabbled egg whites with veggies

or if im in a hurry I have a yogurt and add my fiber one to it, good and crunchy

Lunch
raw veggies salad with chicken or tuna some type of protein

or, sandwich made with that 45 calorie bread

snack

usually 94% free popcorn, apple ( I eat at least 2 fruits a day )
17 pretzels, or if im real hungy 1/2 a bagel with free cream cheese.

Dinner
3oz of protein, with either 1/2 cup pasta, rice or potatoe
and always veggies

snack
either ff pudding or 1/2 cup low fat ice cream

Its like any other plan journal everything and add up your points even if it was something you werent suppose to have, keeps you in check of what your putting in your mouth.

Hope this helps, Deb
