Accountability - Sunday
Another day of not using fitday. Trying to get rid of my obsessive impulses. I'm not feeling 100%
yet but I'm on the mend.
B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, sugar free flavored syrup
2B: 3 egg omelet with ortega chilis and swiss cheese, 1 slice rye toast 1/4 cup cottage cheese
nothing for lunch, 3 bottles of water and several cups of tea
D: tilapia filet baked with tomatoes, onions and some other veggies over about 1/8 cup of Uncle Ben's Instant Rice.
Dessert: 2 pc sugar free chocolate candy
Not sure how that stacks up but I'm happy with it. Part of the problem I have is I worry that this is the start of a bad downward spiral...Will I gain weight when I lose a grip on all this control I've had? I'm not sure. I'm giving it a try.
Yesterday we must have walked 7 miles. Today about 2. I'm not too sore but I am really tired.

Glad you are on the mend; you walked nearly 10 miles this weekend! I was OCD about the fitday for a few months; it seems all or nothing with me about it.

Will send DD to 4th grade camp in the morning, go for a run then go into work for a few hours to finish up a few things before I am off for a month! That sounds so strange! I was only off 3 weeks with my GB because we needed the income of my second job at the time. I plan on evening zumba then off to a friends 50th B-Day party for ****tails and cupcakes!

You did good! I've been doing fitday for about 2 years now and it's hard to put it down..I'm going to give it a try.
I'm home sick today too. I had a training class and I just couldn't see myself sitting in there for 6 hours with no breaks or snacks...or water. I'm just going to sit home and try and rest..Nothing going on but sitting here on line all day. And watching animal planet.
I know you must be excited about the surgery and the time off....You should be fine with all your planning ahead..

Hey Dawn. My daughters birthday was Friday so we stayed busy all weekend. I had 4 talkative 13 and 14 year old girls all weekend! Friday we went to a high school football game then came home, ordered pizza and watched scary movies. Saturday we ate at Bubba Gumps for dinner then went to the pumpkin patch for the haunted corn maze. It was fun but it took an hour. A whole hour of screaming and walking. Gosh, I remember being 14 but I don't remember being so dang talkative.. LOL
Like you, I'm not doing fitday as much anymore. That 2 weeks that I didn't do it, I was less stressed a bout my eating. As long as my weight stays the same, I'm fine!
It's late but I do this to be accountable for me! It's not the best but I'm here to tell about all my carbs!
Saturday:
B- Diet hot chocolate made with 8 oz calorie countdown chocolate milk X2
S- Nothing.
L- Lean cuisine frozen pizza
S- Apple
D-1 big onion ring, cup of clam chowder, hot n spicy grilled shrimp & picked at a side salad w/ light ranch dressing
S- Boiled peanuts at the corn maze
Sunday:
B- 1 slice of french toast w/ SF syrup & 3 strips of bacon
( I made the girls the regular way but made mine using light wheat bread and egg whites)
S- Light yogurt
L- 6" buffalo chicken sub from subway.. didn't eat the top of the bread
S- Nothing
D- Salad .. taco seasoned ground beef, onions, cheese, ff sour cream and salsa & 6 big baked tortilla chips
S- 1 oz of RF cheddar cheese & 90 calorie pack of special k wheat crackers
I had plans on getting back on track today but a friend invited me to lunch today and I didn't make the best choice.

The thing is, girls don't think they talk that much. The boys are silent in comparison. My son is so quiet sometimes, I go in to check to make sure he's okay...he's not into loud music either. he's got really sensitive hearing and loud music gives him a headache. Boy did I get lucky with that? He's like his dad, he'd make a really good radioman, sonar guy on a submarine...
Oh wow...Bubba Gumps..that sounds awesome. My favorite food is shrimp, or was for a while. Now it's beef patties or buffalo patties...but I'm sure it will swing back to shrimp.
So I guess I switch from being obesessive about my eats to being obsessive about the scale? I'm already obsessive about that too..I already noticed that when I'm not keeping track of my food, I eat less. What is up with that? The scale dropped about a half a pound over the weekend with all that walking and soup eating instead of food eating..

Dawn, the same thing is going on with me. When I dont track my food intake with fitday, I eat much less. Yesterday I went to a mexican resturant with a friend and ordered a steak burrito and it came with beans and rice. It was huge so I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. I was freaking out about the scale after my weekend with my daughter and my mexican lunch but when I weighed myself this morning, I'm down 4 lbs? I just don't get it.
Bubba Gumps is one of my favorite resturants. It's a fun, laid back resturant and the shrimp is awesome. I was so tempted on getting my favorite, a fried shrimp hoogie, but I didn't. All that bread and fried shrimp .. probably 1000 calories alone!
I think because we know how much we need, we pad our menus until we meet that need...
The thing is, we aren't eating enough and so we are going to lose weight. Yikes. I don't know about you but I can't stand to lose any more. I'm already down pushing on the 126 button...anything below that and I'll be losing my pants!
I'm going to go back to fitday so I know I'm getting enough cuz today (Tuesday) I didn't and after lunch I was still well below 1000 calores and I like to have at least that much in by lunch..But I'm not hungry...I just can't be trusted!
