Accountability - Monday
I tried really hard to find some encouragement today to keep going and not just fall asleep. I'm sore, I'm tired, I have a slight headache, I didn't want to go to work...I'm just whiney today. Lots and lots of reasons to whine but I need to find some reasons to stay focused...Then I started feeling bad. I think I'm coming down with a cold! RATS.
List for the day:
5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/3 cup quick oat meal, 1/4 cup tvp, 1 cup soy milk, 2 Tb SF DaVinci Raspberry Syrup
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, 99 cent store special, Lemonade
8:15 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
9:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
9:45 am 1 small pear
10:20 am 1/2 pastrami quesadilla
11:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Berry Lemon
1:10 pm 1 single serving bag of kettle corn
1:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Power Edge Wild Berry (Caffeinated)
3:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg
3:45 pm 10 oz cup of Orange Herb Tea
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Cranberry Apple
6:30 pm 1 cup of homemade chili with chuck steak and a small corn muffin...(a bunch of vitamin C and some Zicam)

I'm thinking I probably better take some nyquill tonight just to get a good night sleep. Here comes the electric blanket and extra heavy socks! Whew.

Dawn, I hope you are feeling better in the morning! I swear by echinacea tea, zicam and lots of rest to nip a cold in the bud. I think all the tea(5 cups a day) just washes out the cold germs! Nasal washes help as well, for me at least.

1230-cottage cheese and a fruit cup
1330-brocoli w meat sauce and 1/2 egg salad sandwich on lc bread sf cookie
1830-chicken, baked potato and brocoli
2000-skinny cow or sf cookie
zumba was cancelled so went for a family walk, not aerobic but nice for a change.
all my water, need my calcium before bed.

I took two different zicams before bed and then hit it with nyquill. I also drank a hot cup of tea last night. When I'm sick I'm craving the carbs like crazy....so I also had a slice of nsa pumpkin pie...That shot my totals all to hell! This morning I'm drinking tea, ate my oatmeal and soon I'll be headed back to bed with more nyquill...

I'm whiney today too because I had to spent $223.00 on breaks and it's so close to my daughters birthday and christmas. Other than that, its been a rainy but ok day for me.

Breakfast: Italian turkey sausage link
Snack: Beef n cheese jerky stick
L: Turkey burger, cheese, lettuce and light mayo on a sandwitch thin & Carb control yogart
Snack: handful of baby carrots & small bag of apple/grape bites
D: 3 oz roast pork w/ 2 tbsp of light bbq sauce on top (yum) & 1/2 cup of steamed cabbage

Oh! I'm so sorry you had that hit so close to christmas and the holidays...I feel very blessed that my dh is a mechanic...what would I do if I had to pay for the work? I'd be so broke!
