Finally! Friday...Another day that starts out feeling good. I'm breaking records somewhere, I have to think.. We headed to beautiful downtown Gorman (it's a wide spot in the road, actually) to adopt a hermit crab because his "mommy" is going away to college and can't take care of him. Some people are very pet friendly and that's a good thing. Then there's a festival at our favorite western ghost town. They have the BEST malts in the country at their general store and then there are all the antique stores...should be fun. Then home to rest on Sunday...whew. I'm tired just thinking about it. Much walking this weekend!   List for Friday:   6:30 am 1/3 cup quick oats (and scottish oats combined) 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/4 cup fine granule tvp, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon and splenda brown sugar blend [about half of this...just too busy playing on the computer!]
7:00 am SoBe Pomegranate Grapefruit light drink with ice making 24 oz of "water"
8:30 am the rest of my first breakfast
9:30 am 1 oz cheese stick, 1 pc turkey deli meat
10:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Pink Lemonade
10:45 am 2 chef Jay's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
11:00 am 4 oz cooked shrimp, 1 tsp ****tail sauce
1:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Tangerine Caffeinated
1:45 pm 1 medium tangelo
3:30 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Rasp Lemonade
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Tangerine Caffeinated

6:30 pm (in Gorman) 1/3 lb ground beef angus burger wrapped in lettuce.

Not bad. I could even have a snack. I think I might! How did you do today? Keep after it, you'll get it dialed in if you keep trying..If you don't keep trying, you won't dial it in!

Let me see if I can remember what all I ate. I took the day off from work to clean the house and did not make a dent in it!
0900-100 cal english muffin and a fried egg w 2 % cheese
1230-1/2 blue cheese burger few fries and onion rings
1530-wasabi and soy almonds- I was feeling shaky after doing zumba right after I ate all those carbs at lunch. I had to take it easy, I almost left class.
1830-oven fried chicken thighs, smashed taters and brocoli
2100-1/2 scoop Ben&Jerry ice cream. SF has been making me feel very quessy lately but 1/2 scoop of regular and not a bite more is fine
all my water, vits and such and an hour of zumba. DH is home for the weekend so I made dinner which I rarely do on Fridays. Bisquick oven fried chicken is so good! I had not made it in years for some reason. I enjoy cooking, I need to make more time for it.
Ghost town festival, that sounds fun! We went to Oatman in Arizna or Nevada a long time ago, it was fun. They had donkeys that just roam around and you could but carrots to feed them. Some famous Hollywood couple honeymooned there, but I can't remember who. I am taking my daughter and some of her friends to a movie this afternoon and then I need to grocery shop, the cupboards are bare. With DH gone so much we just eat whatever is around! I want to up the protein so want to set myself up for success. This is too long! Have a great day!
