scarred gaining 2 years out!!!!
I am 2 yrs and 1 month out of surgery and stopped losing after about 7 months out I have lost 80lbs. in 2 yrs. but I feel the weight creeping up and I am in panic mode! I can't stop snacking i'm out of control. Like I used to be trying eating plan after eating plan, I feel lost and depressed. Any help!! I was 165 after surgery and I am 193 today started at 320.
I agree with the other poster...start with the food and get it under control and then start moving..cut out whatever it is you can't control yourself over..get it out of the house and refuse to let it back in...don't look at it or even think about it..
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I have had the same problem; I found myself snacking more and more. I decided to do the 5-Day Pouch Test, which basically takes us back to protein only and then over the 5 days re-introduces other foods. I've had good luck with reducing the snacking urges and with any luck will be able to continue to my target.
Just google "5-day pouch test" and you'll find Kaye Bailey's site and the entire process.
Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your gain. But, I have to ask -- what are you snacking on? I am a firm believer in cutting out ALL not-good-for-you-carbs. And, sounds like you're eating sweets -- please stop it. Get rid of all that stuff. It's what got us fat in the first place.
I'm four years post-op and don't eat any refined carbs at all and no sweets - except for the occasional sugar-free candy ****asional). Try snacking on protein such as cheese, yogurt, nuts, etc.
Good luck - it's quite a ride, but it's a ride that lasts the rest of our lives.
