In September of 2004 I had RNY WLS, I was wondering if Nutri System is a safe program to go on to help lwith losing those 20 extra pounds.

Hi
I'm a little over 2 years out.  I do eat the Nutri-systems meals during lunch on occasion.  The are easy,   the portions are small and sometimes I can't finish one.   I have never used them for total weight loss so I can't help you there.   I am still one of those that follows all the  runs (most of the time)  Best of luck to you

i was a counselor at nutrisystem- their food is great for post-ops.  it's high protein, low sugar/glycemic index, small portions.  it's all food you could make yourself for the most part (with the addition of some tasteless protein powder in some cases...) but having it already made makes it a lot more convenient.  it's just a matter of the taste i guess, which ranges.
