Today is my 7 year annivarsy. My start weight was 265. My lowest was 145. I am at 188 (trying to lose back down to 150). Overall I feel healthy and happy.

Best Wishes to Everyone!

P.S. some recommended that I do a pouch test. Does anyone have any information on how to do this?

I just finished the 5DPT. It was not easy, but it helped me. I did not loose much weight, but it did help me get control of my hunger and help start eating better with proteins first and drinking my water.

Congrats on 7 years of health and happiness! I occasionally do a modified 5 day pouch test to get my self control back. It's basically a  liquid protein diet all day long and a light soup at night...for just one or two days. I'm not struggling to lose weight anymore but some days I just feel out of control where sugar or sugar free carbs are concerned. I used to stress eat and now I over compensate with not eating when I'm stressed. I'm so scared that I'm going to get back into that habit again that I get scared and have to "reset" my mind...so a day off of eating helps me.

One of my friends in local support will not eat sugar at all..she's 7 years out. She's struggling with about 10 pounds but she's obessive over not letting sugar back into her life. Actually, she says anything that tastes good is out..I'm not going THERE but it works for her.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
