Gained back almost 20 lbs from my lowest
I have had a couple people tell me that I was too thin when I was 120. I felt comfortable at 125 or 130, but I know I am way over at 140 and 145. Of course, you could be right that my body has "bounced back" to a weight that it wants.
I guess my fear is that I will end up back where I was before my surgery. I just want to make sure I nip this weight gain in the bud.
Take care.

Some are dealing with thyroid issues, too.

P.S. My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.
Good luck

Good luck on the 5 day pouch test. I really want to do it, but I am afraid that I will go into binge mode if I go to a straight liquid diet.
I am not sure why we get back into our old habits. I did so well for the first 3 years, and I have been slowly getting into bad habits again. My big problems are grazing on carbs and not exercising. Now at least, I am making a conscience effort to control my issues.
I think I forgot I used to be fat. I moved to a new job in a different state about a year after my RYN. Very few people at my job or in neighborhood know that I was ever heavy, so I had gotten into the mind set that I am just a regular person. I have to remember that inside this normal-sized woman is a fat girl that has all the same problems. I can't eat like the naturally thin girls at work, but I lulled myself into believing I was just like them. That is the problem I really need to address.
Thanks.
