Accountability - Monday
Not a good eating day for me
5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:30 am 1/2 cup tvp, 3/4 cup soy milk, 1 T PB2. (half of this..not hungry)
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe tropical
10:00 am ate more of my breakfast, actually finished it! took me a half hour!
11:00 am 1 oz cheese stick, 1 pc turkey deli meat
11:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Tangerine Caffeinated
1:00 pm 5 oz burger patty with 1/2 oz american cheese, 1/4 cup marinara sauce and 1/4 cup spaghetti squash. Took me almost an hour to eat this!
3:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Pink Lemonade (this was the soonest I could drink something..really full,almost nauseous!)
4:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Orange
6:30 pm 4 oz pork chop, 1/4 cup canned green beans (took me a half hour on this...for just the
chop..I'm pretty good about not having to eat all I put on my plate anymore..lots went to the dogs)
7:30 pm some sort of snack...undetermined at this time. LOL.
Without the snack, which I'm not sure I'm gonna have anyway...here are my totals:
Calories: 1201
Fat: 50.7
Carbs: 52.7
Protein: 130.7
Still, lower carbs than I like to see and not enough water. I need water more than a snack, I think. Maybe V8 tomorrow to be sure I'm getting enough veggies..

I did good with my eating today. I'm trying to eat small meals thoughout the day to keep my protein and calories up. It worked today.
Work has been very busy but I like it like that cause time goes by quickly.
My good eats...
Early AM: 8 oz coffee w/ half in half
On way to school: Protein Shake
Between classes: South Beach diet protein cereal bar
On way to work: 3 strips of turkey bacon
Snack: Beef jerky
Lunch: Smart Ones frozen dinner & Light Yogurt
Dinner:1 1/2 baked bbq chicken legs, 1/4 c. of vegetable fried brown rice & 1/2 c. of pintos
Snack: Boiled egg

Hey Dawn and all others who come in to post...
Dawn, I'm sorry your tummy is still not right, in the "old" days pre-op I would look at those kinds of days as a blessing cause I was sure to loose a few lbs when I didn't feel like eating, now I get concerned that I'm not getting enough of what I need when I don't feel like eating - talk about irony...Hope its better soon...
I'm really trying to keep my numbers low, want to jump start losing again and re-align my food priorities now that "the holidays" are fast approaching...My birthday in September usually kicks off my worst eating season where I usually sprinkle in liberal doses of snacking thru the holiday's - want to "just say no" this year and do better at following my regular plan - so I'm telling myself daily : FOCUS - FOCUS...
Now the food :
B - peach cobbler frozen protein shake
S - coffee with ff carb countdown
L - sausage crust quiche and 4 wedges of cucumber
S - 1 piece sal****er taffy & 5 dk choc esresso beans
D - dreamsicle frozen protein shake
S - 2 tuscan herb almonds & 3 cashews and 1 prune
Water / Crystal Light : 112 oz Cals : 842 Fat : 34 NetCarbs : 38 Protein : 89

You know what really sucks is that I can stay at 900 calories for several days and not lose even part of an ounce..then I increase to 1800 calories and lose a whole pound. WTH? I mean, how can it be that I'm not getting enough calories at all for weeks and weeks and then still lose some when I increase? It makes no sense to me this far out!
I think I know what turned my tummy south. Sunday evening I opened a die****er product that I got at the 99 cent store for $.69...Turns out it's carbonated. I haven't had a carbonated drink since July 2006...and so the gurgling and stomach sounds from just the one drink...and gas pains! ouch. Not gonna be doin that again any time soon. On the RNY board they wanna know why we have to stay away from carbonation? HA...I know for sure.
You list looks really good...low calories and high protein...keep it up, christmas is right around teh corner. LOL. See ya.

Too much of a good thing and you completely flake on yourself? Tsk. Tsk...sounds so ... so... human.
Don't take on too much at a time and you can slow down the ocean liner and eventually turn it in the right direction.
