Sushi---->Just this month I tried it and I like it!  My daughter has gotten me hooked!

My question is this:  Does anyone know with regard to WLS does Sushi have any nutritional value to us in the way of protein etc?  Is it ok to eat or should we not be eating this?

Good luck and continues success to us all......

Fish is SO good for you...rice not so much but fish is really really low calorie and high protein..

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I'm HOOKED on sushi!!  there are weeks I have it 4-5 times a week, IMO sushi is a great food  for anyone, fish is protein, theres usually a vegetable in the roll, its wrapped in seaweed which is healthy and I always order rolls with brown rice which is a slow, complex carb that has nutrients (white rice has no nutritional value).

enjoy :)

I usually order sashimi (fish - no rice).  Rice is still a problem for me. But then I add the seaweed salad - yummm...

I eat sushi, but generally in the corner of the resturant. I love to pick the rolls apart and get all the "good stuff" I'll only eat a teeeeeny tiny bit of the rice, all the fillings, some of the seaweed.  I love the taste, texture, etc of sushi but that rice (Even the brown) bothers me if I eat more then a little.
