Accountability - Saturday
I had a pretty good day. I stayed busy and so I didn't snack any. Shopping and cleaning...and farming on facebook. LOL.
List for the day:
B: oatmeal, soy milk, tvp, PB2 (by Bell Plantation at Netrition...powdered peanut butter)
2B: 2 fried eggs, 2 slices bacon and 2 pc wheat toast with no crust
L: 1-1/2 pork tamales that I made weeks ago and froze
D: 5 oz burger patty (before cooking) and cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce and 1/2 cup spaghetti squash.
No dessert if I can help it. Most of my vitamins, a bottle short on water but I can have a big cup of tea later..All in all I did okay.

Calories: 1515
Fat: 75.2
Carbs: 104.8
Protein: 108.3
Still doing some laundry and cleaned the car, inside and out...maybe to bed early if there is a good movie on..

Hi! I like the idea of these accountability posts.
I visit the "Failed WLS" board and see a lot of people blaming their regain on metabolism, genetics, whatever, and never taking responsibility for their own behavior. Feeling a sense of lack of control is behind WHY many of us return to the bad eating habits that we had before surgery.
Anyway, it's nice to see people recognizing the power they have over what they put in their mouth!

Well, thank you! It's very easy to blame weight gain on genetics, metabolism, injuries, illness...all that stuff. Be I know the hard answer is how much of what I put in my mouth..
I had the fortune of knowing some people who gained some of their weight back and I had to come to terms with what I would do to keep that from happening. I know it happens but I just don't want it to happen to me. If it does start happening I'm not going to have to say "I don't know what happened..." I want to be aware.

I was doing great until I went to a beach party!
1030-scrambled eggs w cheese and bacon
1200-100 cal muffin w sf jelly
1430-tuna salad on 1/2 low carb tortilla
1800-hot dog no bun,scoop potato salad, few bites pasta salad and fruit
2000-strawberries, sliver of cheesecake, small square of something sinful and tasty
2200-bowl of rice crispies-I love cereal, but never eat it as it is a major trigger ffod for me.
2 .5mile run, all my water, vitamins, and iron. Had fun at the party but would of been happier if I skipped the crap, oh yesh I had a reduced sugar cupcake too. I brought them to the party so I could have a treat. I have another party today and will do better!
