I know what you mean about the munch monster at night. Especially when that time of the month is around here somewhere..I really am getting the munchies in the evening.

Be sure and get plenty of vitamin C. No harm in getting too much either cuz it's water soluble and goes away the more water you drink. It's best to be safe on the surgery. Did they postpone it because of the cold? Good for them, if they did. Better to be safe.

You did pretty good. Looks really good on the variety..Good job. Keep up the good work. See ya.

Morning Ya'll...

Glad to be back to accounting, I always think it will be nice to not be so diligent about tracking for a few days when I go on vacation, but by the time I get back I'm ready to report in - helps to know, you know?

Its that time of the month and the carb cravings are in full swing, at this time, I would rather have a cookie than a meal, which is such a poor choice, so I try to balance and make sure I eat both even if I eat the cookie 1st ...

B - pumpkin pie protein shake
S - 1 sugar cookie, 2 slices turkey breast & 1 tbsp trail mix
S - 2 prunes & 1 sf choc creme candy
D - 4 oz roast beef topped with 1 slice havardi (melted) and drizzled with gravy, 1/2 cup
mozzarella, tomato and cucumber salad & 4 french fries
S - 2 tbsp trail mix

Water / Crystal Light : 96 oz                     Cals : 1096     Fat : 47     NetCarbs : 70     Protein : 92

Check back later...

Mmmm. Cookies instead of a meal (drool inserted here.) ME TOO! It's really hard when you just can't resist. There has to be something in it that your body needs at this time, I have to figure. I try and remain sensible and in control but there is just something. It's carbs and chocolate...and a LOT of it. LOL.

You did good. I'm trying adding water to maybe combat the carb craving. Especially late at night. I'm just horrible! A nice warm cup of chocolate hazelnut tea usually does it for me...warms me up and makes me sleepy. At least when I'm sleeping, I'm not sticking my head in the fridge looking.

I find that if I just say no early in the day I'm not wanting to add more carbs later in the day. It helps alittle but when I get home...I'm just lost.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Good evening. I've been really busy and haven't been online since Friday.  I did splurge at the BBQ on Saturday and had leftovers Sunday and Monday... Nothing too bad.
My mom got me a T-bone steak that was HUGE. I cooked it on the grill medium rare to perfection! It took me 3 days to eat.

At Saturdays cookout I had
Lunch: Steak w/ grilled onions and steak sauce, shrimp macaroni salad, grilled shrimp and grilled asparagus.
Snacks were watermelon, 1/2 a cupcake, deviled eggs and handful of BBQ chips
Dinner: Grilled turkey burger with cheese, 1 small pork BBQ rib
1315 calories

Sunday was a leftovers of the above except I had a pb cookie and no cupcake..
Calories were 1258

Monday:

Breakfast: 3 strips of turkey bacon & Light Yogurt

Snack: 12 oz chocolate calorie countdown milk

Lunch: Ham & Cheese sammy on light wheat bread w/ ff mayo, lettuce and mustard

Dinner: The last of my steak 3.5 oz &  2 medium scrambled eggs

I was low on calories yesterday. It was my first day of school. My body needs to get use to this new routine and getting up early in the morning.  I am so freaking tired and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed

I feel better that I've been accountable for the days that I was MIA

You did really awesome, even being MIA...Centered on protein, low on the processed carbs (white ones) and high on variety and good stuff...

Yeah, the numbers are low but once you get into the swing and have a rhythm down...You'll do just fine.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Your brain needs fuel and that means food...The better you eat, the better your mind will be. It's hard but you just have to or your brain won't function...HELL, your whole body won't function without food..

Keep trying, it's worth it. Did you ask your landlord about a small tiny little rat-like dog? LOL. I just think if you had a baby to take care of, you'd do better.

I never realized that I missed being a mommy until my kids didn't need me. I needed to be needed so I got me a little bitty dog who will always be my "baby."
