My whole body hurts......
Who told me I could play football? Just because you lose weight does NOT make you "in shape"! That's for sure!
Anyway, today I didn't even want to get out of bed. I feel like doing nothing. I had to give myself a "pep talk" so I don't spiral out of control. It's a battle I go through a lot. At the drop of a hat, I could be right back where I started. I know some of you can relate.....

Trying to act young and fit again can hurt, huh? LOL. I can not say how often I've done that. It's really easy to do. When I had time in college, I was out there running around and dancing all night, up at the crack and going biking or hiking and all that stuff. Then adulthood kicked in. Desk job, family, house...exhaustion..But I still wanna do those things!
So after a day of hiking up and down mountains or biking my arse off...I have to take the next day just not doing much. Walking to the kitchen for coffee and maybe pushing the vacuum cleaner and loading laundry...sigh...sucks to get old.
My advice is not to do too much but do move around some after those games of football. GENTLY stretch those over used muscles out again...You'll feel better in a day or two.

Yeah. I think I totally overdid it. We have another practice this Sat. I am so NOT going to try as hard. I guess in time my body will get used to it, but I've never played sports in my life. I know I can do it, but I need to not jump right in I guess...I need to take it easy and not think I'm a pro. Lol!!!
